2e séjour dans cet hôtel et j’ai été déçu par le check-in, qui a été long et inefficace. J’ai fait une réservation de 3 chambres sur hôtels.com, l’hôtel n’en retrouvait que 2, puis enfin la 3e, qui n’était pas au même étage que les 2 autres, ce qui n’est pas pratique pour un séjour familial. Nous avons réservé 1 chambre avec un grand lit et 2 chambres avec lits séparés, et malgré que ce soit revalidé avec le réceptionniste, on se retrouve avec l’inverse… ça peut paraître des détails mais pour un hôtel 5 étoiles, ce n’est pas correct. Et quand j’en parle lors du check out, on me dit que je devrais réserver directement sur le site de l’hôtel... Cette réponse m’a donné une 2e déception. Les bons côtés, car je donne quand même un 4/5 : l’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres très confortables, l’accueil et le service des bagagistes très agréables, la vue sur le vieux port et sur la ville exceptionnelle, les baignoires immenses… tout pour passer un bon moment

We were warned by many wrt Merseille being the most dangerous city in Europe and we should not visit. We're from NYC and we've seen worse traveling other cities. The hotel is one of the best in Merseille. We're glad we choose it over others. We expected a modern luxury experience and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Walking distance to many tourist sites. Breakfast with one of the best view in the city. And the city is safer than hyped. Especially in the hotel.

It's more like a 4-star hotel. While the exterior is gorgeous, it was a very disappointing experience for us. The staff wasn't welcoming or attentive at the front door/reception/spa. The rooms are very poorly designed. The spa layout was terrible. And, please, someone replace the cold, white LED lights with warmer ones...!

Certains points sur le service peuvent être clairement alignés sur ce que l’on peut attendre d’un tel établissement. Notamment sur la restauration à la Brasserie ou sur les produits dans la chambre (bouteilles d’eau, infusions, etc.). Bonjour aleatoire du personnel de service croisé dans les couloirs. Également sur la sélection d’une chambre ou les équipes savaient que le wifi ne passait pas. Il a fallut plusieurs appels et une descente à la réception pour régler le problème amenant à un changement de chambre. En points forts, l’accueil a l’arrivée, le petit déjeuner, excellent, avec un personnel attentionné. Le service au bar de l’hôtel.

A great 3.5 stars hotel but definitely not a 5 stars. Then again it’s Marseille which is a dangerous dump of a place so it’s all relative!
