Hotel is one of the oldest, if not the oldest and it is in the middle of the city centre. Hotelroom I stayed in was very modern and completely refurbished with a view of the Coolsingel. Staff is very friendly and professional.

The staff are not friendly , I arrived and was told that I don’t have a reservation even though i shown the confirmation email from Expedia , had to make lot of phone calls and checking took an 1hour plus and I then had to wait for my room to be made ready , I booked two rooms and was given one on 5th floor and one on 7th floor not taking into consideration that I had children . My room was cleared while I went for breakfast before I even checked out and my toiletries got thrown away lucky enough my suitcases was in the second room . Location is brilliant near everything . I would have really enjoyed the stay if it wasn’t for the non friendly team . Not to mention I travelled with kids

We attended during jazz. Not good. We had an issue with unexpected loud noise (another guest) which was never resolved. The room was also not cleaned satisfactorily. Used to be a good budget option but this was overpriced, uncomfortable and generally poor.
