It appeared there was some construction going on as there were carpenter items at the end of the hall. We had to change our door key 3 times. Each key worked once then stopped. The elevator could use some cosmetic work. The walls appeared old and slightly dingy with no trim so you could see behind it. Maybe that’s what the construction items were for? The hallway was very quiet. The employees were beyond helpful and courteous. I couldn’t fault any of them. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would not have a problem staying here again.

There was a strong horrible smell as soon as you walk in. I asked about breakfast when i checked in and was told there was breakfast, but when i went down there it was only bread and cereal. The hot tub was dirty and did not work. The room was dirty and had spiderwebs in corners. Air conditioner kept shutting off. I stayed for two nights and i left during the day and when I came back my key was deactivated. When I got it fixed and went back in my room I noticed someone had been in there and made the beds.

As soon as you walked in the building it smelled like mold. The building, the rooms and especially the bathrooms were very outdated. Fruit were black and not able to eat. The only “breakfast” there was was old cereal.

They don't honor online reservations

As I was on my way to check-in they called me and asked me to please cancel my reservation because they're under bew management and no longer honoring online reservations. They assured me my room upon arrival but failed to mention that it would coat me double of what I paid through hotels.com. For one, WHY WOULD THEY WAIT TO TELL ME THIS WHEN I'M ALREADY ON MY WAY THERE???!!!! Canceling at that point wouldn't allow me to get my refund from hotels.com. I was extremely upset because I really needed to stay there. I ended up having to book somewhere else further from where I needed to be. All they said was "I'm sorry I know I should've called you 2 days ago but I didn't." Like if that was gonna fix the issue.
