Great safe and value hotel

This is a "Travelers Hotel" So it's perfect if you want an inexpensive, clean, low frills, safe, low key, room. It's about 200 meters from Rome Termini. So it's super convenient. Theres a Grocery store- in Termini, and just about anything you want. So this location is good for those seeking that type of travel. Breakfast is solid here. ( better than some I've seen ). But don't book this hotel looking for luxury-- and and top tier service--- that's not what it is..... It's a nice, clean, safe, low cost alternative to higher price hotels. That's what it is. Rooms are smaller-- but they are in many big city hotels.

There is always a sunny side of any stay.

Whilst the booking process was horrid, I had three rooms cancelled on me with no contact and at the last minute had to find new accommodation for 5 members of my group booking, the experience there was much more than I expected. The Front office staff, the ladies cleaning the rooms and the handy man were so very helpful it made up for the inconvenience of having a split group.

Hotel Luce was in a convenient Location. Older style rooms with basic amenities. There are restaurants everywhere on this street so noise was a concern. Beds were Ok. Overall for the money, was Ok

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for; convenient location with a reasonable price for the area. We stayed on the fourth floor. Fairly warm in the room with a slow, but functioning air conditioner. The room is small, as the hotel photos depict. Our sheets were clean and towels replaced daily. Washroom was small, but clean. Staff was friendly, from our limited interaction with them. Breakfast is simple and convenient. Wifi functioned well enough in our room to be able to utilize video chat. Don’t expect perfection, but also do not expect to spend a fortune.

It is very close to the termini train station. There are restaurants nearby. The double bed it two twins pushed together, the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. The shower was a bit strange, no shower curtain and the tub was really high up.

The staff is super friendly and eager to help. I have enjoyed every single interaction with all the staff. I was also very pleased because the great majority of the staff knew at least Spanish and English.

Located on quiet street near busy train station. Staff is helpful and breakfast is good too. Unfortunately hotel requires major work, many things are broken. Room we stayed was so small that only place for suitcase was the desk.

Teeny tiny room

Ist, the room was tiny probably 8x8 - and it wasn't just our room. We saw several on our floor that appeared to be the same and the desk clerk said all rooms were the same. There was no dresser for clothes. But there was a hook in the hallway! The bathroom was clean and modern but again there really wasn't any space to store toiletries and there was some mold on the shower tiles. We stayed at this property for 3 nights, and for the 1st 2, the TV didn't work. On the 2nd day someone came to "fix" the tv and while it was obvious that the cable was frayed and needed to be replaced, the "repair man" had no tools or equipment of any kind with him. On the 3rd day the tv worked thanks to a new cable being installed. The breakfast was a bright spot in our stay. A good assortment of fresh pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses are offered along with 3 different juices, coffee and hot chocolate. No complaints there. The location, 2 blocks from the train terminal was as expected and there were several nice restaurants in easy walking distance and there is a convenience store and a self service laundry across the street. My wife was concerned about people who were milling around the hotel but it seemed to be quiet after around 9pm. Management was very responsive to our requests for extra towels, pillows and bath products
