A little but very nice apartment (monotype) provided with air conditioning, bathroom with shower box, hair dryer, tv color, free Wifi, kitchen-corner, well equipped (two induction plates, micro-wave oven, electric italian type caffettiera, toaster) and panoramic terrace with awning, table, chairs and chaises-longues. For two persons. Located in the residential area of ​​Janiculum-Monteverde Vecchio ,, near the Park of Villa Pamphili, ten minutes away from the center of Trastevere, 20 minutes by bus from the Coliseum. Restaurants, open sky market, supermarket, any kind of shops (a delicious ice-cream shop too!) in the same street or very near. Very good and very cheap-rotisseries pizzerias (also take-away)

I cannot recommend this studio enough. It is in a perfect location- not too close to major tourist attractions but close enough that it is very easy to travel to them. The patio/terrace provides spectacular views of the city and is even better at sunset. The actual studio is spacious and clean. I will be coming back!

Nice small studio that everything we needed. Nice terrace to relax in the evening and far enough out of town that you can enjoy some truly local food but still close enough to walk or taxi into the city.Maurizio was great! He gave us a guided tour when we arrived that gave us a quick overview or Trastevere and Rome highlights. We were very happy to have chosen this place to stay. Next visit to Rome we will be staying here.

There is no better accommodation!

Maurizio is incredible! So generous with his time, gave us a wonderful tour of the Trastevere area when we arrived to help us understand the area. Amazing terrace, equipped with a big bed, small kitchen, and bathroom. Maurizio, thank you for your attentiveness to us, and your kindness and helpfulness! I would go out of my way if I can ever come back to make it to this accommodation.

Great location and awesome patio

This small apartment is in a really nice and safe neighbourhood. Has everything you need and it is away from the hustle and bustle of Rome but close enough to walk if you want. Public transportation was very good and on time. Trastevere has a lot of charm. Nice restaurants, markets etc. The best part of the apartment is the private patio. Maurizio and his wife are great hosts and local guides if you need anything during your stay.

Fabulous Studio apartment in Rome

The studio was actually a bit larger than I’d anticipated and was perfect for me and my teenager to share. We both loved the terrace, as most days of our stay it was warm enough to have breakfast and dinner out there, with views of the sunset over the Trastevere rooftops. The bed was very comfortable and all necessary items were provided in both the bathroom and kitchen. Our host, Maurizio, could not have been more kind and helpful! As others have mentioned (which was why I booked this place!), he collected us from the local train station and also gave us about an hour’s guided tour (by car) of the local Gianicolo Hill area.

The flat was lovely and perfect for what we needed for our short trip. It was snug, but definitely enough room for two people. The private terrace was a real bonus as even in February we were able to wind down in the evening. The bus route towards the city goes from about 5 mins away, and returning drops right at the door, so well connected if out of the way. Would recommend for traditional couples.

Maurizio’s apartment was a great place to base ourselves for 4 days. Maurizio went above and beyond to host us by picking us up from the train station with our bags and he let us check out late. The terrace is huge and would be a wonderful spot in the summer

An amazing stay!

We’re so glad we stayed here! The flat is perfectly formed and has everything you need. It’s quiet at night and the bed is comfy. The roof terrace is amazing with views over the city. The area was perfect for us - there were lots of great cafes and restaurants and it’s a nice walk in to the centre of Rome (or you can take the bus from right outside the building!). The best part about our stay was our very welcoming host Maurizio - he waited up for us and showed us to the flat even though we arrived late at night, and the next day he very kindly took us on a tour of his neighbourhood! He showed us some sights that we definitely would have missed, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and told us about the history of Rome. It was really cool to get the local knowledge from a true Roman and it made such a difference to our stay. We will be recommending our friends and family stay here, and you should too! Thanks Maurizio!

Vacation in Rome

The property was clean, secure, and comfortable for two people. Maurizio was a wonderful host. He met us when we arrived even though it was late in the evening and gave us a tour of the neighborhood so we would know where the market and restaurants were. The next morning he gave us a tour that included the surrounding area. He loves his hometown and loves to share the history. We would definitely stay here again.

Rome Stay

Our stay in Rome was good. Maurizio is an excellent host who met us at the building, showed us around and made sure we knew where restaurants and groceries could be found. He took us on an hour long tour of the area in his car. The studio apartment is adequate for 2 people. It’s smaller than I expected and had only limited cooking area. The last 2 nites were cold but we had adequate bedding so slept well. If you are looking for a good place to sleep only for a couple nites this would be it!

Fantastic Stay!

We had the best stay ever in this comfortable apartment. It was very clean and walking distance to places for breakfast and dinner. Our host was outstanding! Meeting us on arrival and showing us restaurants and providing us a great mini tour of the neighborhood and explaining the history of the area. The terrace was an amazing place to relax after exploring Rome! Hope to return again!

Perfect!

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was! Maurizio was the most gracious host! Communication with WhatsApp before and during our stay was great and appreciated to make us feel comfortable on our first trip to Italy. He picked us up at the Trastevere train station and gave us a historical driving tour of the neighborhood with much advice! We left feeling like Maurizio was our new friend. Loved the neighborhood and the convenient location to both Vatican, Colosseum, and Spanish Steps. We mostly walked and felt safe, but there were always taxis in the square close by. Loved the view from our private rooftop veranda! Bed was comfortable. Very clean! We enjoyed the coffee and pastry shop across the street every morning! Best restaurants nearby. We will definitely love to stay here again when in Rome! Thanks so much for everything, Maurizio!
