Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the city

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk brings you to the Forum and Colosseum and yet it’s quiet and uncrowded. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. A few great restaurants and bars right on the doorstep with a huge variety just a short walk away. Best of all, the kindest and most accommodating owners you could ever wish to meet. We will return for sure and will recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Location, quiet, warm family like service!

Location, service and quiet room made this the best hotel for our trip to Rome!!! The location truly took our breath away. The staff treated us like family. We talked about the hotel the entire time, so happy we stayed there!

The owner operates this hotel and is always there and willing to help with anything you need, she even did our laundry with no charge. The rooms are clean and thou they are not large there is an efficient use of the space available. Restaurant just a couple doors down has the best carbonaro in Rome.

The property was clran but the staff made it better. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They would give suggestions for dinner, tell us history of the areas around, and let us know of hidden gems at the parks we were exploring. It made our first time in Roma so much better and we will be recommending to others. They also have a very cute dog.

We had an amazing stay here in August 2024. The owners were really lovely and helpful with various things like ordering taxis, list of restaurants where to eat, how to approach the tours, etc. The rooms were very clean and big enough to accommodate two of us comfortably. It is in a very quiet area which is nice after a long day of tours and it is within walking distance of everything. It is was very hot when we were there - 36 degrees - but the air con in the room worked wonderfully. There is a nice little breakfast of snacks and coffees left for you in the room also to enjoy at your own leisure. Would definitely return again.

Katarina, our concierge, and the rest of the staff were amazing! They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, they booked us dining and transportation, even laundered a pair of slacks at the last minute! The property is very clean, and only a few minutes walking distance from the Colosseum and other historic sites. Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent! This is a lovely place. Newer property, very clean and quiet. Owners Catherine and Pino were so welcoming and kind and always made special effort to provide assistance with directions, restaurant suggestions/reservations, booking taxi, etc. which made my stay more enjoyable. Property is conveniently located walking distance to many historical sites, restaurants and shopping. Several restaurants within five min walk. Five min walk to Forum, 15 min walk to Colosseum and more. I highly recommend this place to couples or those traveling solo. I will certainly return!

Terrific location, within walking distance of the forum and Campidoglio And 15 minutes or so to Circus Maximus and Colosseum. The place is run by a lovely husband and wife who Are very sweet, and can help arrange tours and transportation as needed. They were very receptive to all requests. We had the room with the view of the Tarpeian rock And it was pretty Special. Would recommend!

Hosts were excellent and even carried our bags up and down the steps, providing lots of good information, allowed us a late checkout and coordinated a car to the airport. Building is in a quiet area and the new windows made for very quiet nights. Water and coffee pods and snacks were free and other bar items very reasonable. One block away is the Roman Forum and many of the sites are within 15 min walk. Would definitely stay there again.

I booked this hotel based on the high reviews it had. Upon arriving the location, we realized there were a lot of stairs involved getting into the hotel AND getting in the room. The staff were incredible. They were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location is super convenient and had the best carbonara restaurant right downstairs. Within 10 min of walking, you can have access of many bars and restaurants. Upon leaving, they helped us with transportation to airport. It was perfect stay. Definitely will staying here again.

Foro Romano is a small, very clean and quiet hotel with a friendly person at the front desk and between walking distance to the important places to visit in Rome. Catherine, at the reception desk, was very helpful and friendly. She called me early on the day of my arrival to make sure everything was ok and asked if I wanted someone to pick me up at the airport. Upon arrival at the hotel, she was very helpful with the suitcases and provided us with information as to places nearby where you could eat. We went to InRoma restaurant which is a few steps away from the hotel and needless to say, the food was delicious. Mario the waiter, was very polite. We also met the owners of the place, they were friendly and we were treated very nicely by them. I highly recommend these two places if you’re visiting Rome and looking for a good. clean, and friendly place to stay and delicious food to eat with a very good service.
