This property has a fantastic location, just steps from the Colosseum and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The host was kind, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. We traveled with two children (ages 8 and 3) and stayed for two nights.The property is a studio that includes a windowless basement room. Since we are claustrophobic, none of us felt comfortable sleeping there. Instead, all four of us ended up sharing the couch. I was also concerned about my 3-year-old and the steep stairs leading down to the basement.The bathroom was very small and not very comfortable, and due to the humidity inside the property, my wife, who suffers from allergies, struggled a bit during our stay.Overall, while we managed to make it work for two nights, this property was ultimately not a good fit for our family.

Very comfortable and clean. Close to good restaurants, Cavour metro station, or 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum and Forum, 15-20 minutes walk to Trevi Fountains, Spanish Steps and shops. Nicoletta was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here.

Rome apartment

Great location, but it is only one bedroom and one couch bed so not a real 2 bedroom apartment. It would have been nice if there was a fold out single bed because we have two children. Also, not enough hot water for 4 who want to bath around the same time.

The property was in a fantastic location. However it is best suited for two adults and as the main bed is in the cellar it is a difficult staircase to negotiate especially at night. There are very few appliances as there is no toater and no coffee maker. Sadly the fridge required repair. There were dishes and cups but no wine glasses. Having these would have made the stay more home friendly.

Charming Location, clean rooms!

The place is as advertised and reviews seem to be accurate. Great location and enough space for us, one couple and 8 year old daughter. Plug in sink would not lift so we had to use the kitchen sink, there were water stains in the drawer below, indicating this is an ongoing issue. We wished there would be posted information about hot water heater (small tank) , wifi, extra towels (2 out for 3 people), etc. but we figured it out. The place was very clean, and host was responsive.!

Smells of mold and couch is filthy

This stay is a rip off, don’t waste your time because Vrbo won’t provide a refund. When me and my partner arrived, all the windows were open which we thought was odd but okay. Saw the couch which looks like it belongs in a frat house, neither one of us wanted to sit on it (only other seating are plastic dining chairs), and the whole place had an odd smell. Went downstairs to the bedroom and it smelled very heavily of mold and sitting water. Looked under the stairs and the host had a bunch of scent products that were supposed to smell of lavender. It didn’t smell of lavender. I started closing the windows so help the air conditioning unit to try and get rid of the smell and found a line of mold along the windows. My partner and I went to a hotel due to health and safety concerns, along with general cleanliness issues. The host is refusing to provide a refund and Vrbo won’t do anything because apparently it’s the hosts responsibility. Don’t waste your time like we did.

Great location for walking to sites

Really liked the location. Fairly well equipped. A bit crowded for 4 adults, but fine for short stay. Usual complaints about Italian properties....lack of toilet paper, no hooks to hang wet towels, coats, etc. Big complaint about hot water heater though....very small tank that was set to heat only half a tank. Hot water would run out after 5 minutes and took 30 minutes to regenerate. We had 4 adults showering....so we weren't very happy. Would stay again, but only with 2 adults.

Amazing location

A great little spot in the heart of Monti. It's on a street that has some bars and restaurants but also isn't too busy/loud. The apartment itself is a little darker/"colder" in ambiance than it looks in photos but overall it's in an amazing location and relatively inexpensive for Rome standards.
