The apartment was a great size for our family of 6. The AC worked really well which we needed in that extreme heat. It was convenient to the colloseum and a bus stop nearby as well as a taxi stand a little further down the block. Easy, simple and fit the bill for what we needed. Anastasia and Stefano were helpful and responsive as well.

Great location near the Colosseum. The apartment was good for the 6 of us. We had plenty of towels and the washer was key. The plumbing was very slow and I think there are issues that I addressed with the host. AC worked great. Lost power one day using the host provided hair dryer. Host was very communicative when I reached out and that was appreciated. Two days after we departed I had a message from host that we damaged an electrical outlet and we ripped it out of the wall. That 100% did not occur. We had great communication throughout the trip and I was disappointed that he accused me instead of asked me. Things happen but as a GM of a hotel, I know to bring it up as it happens as opposed to accusing. He did admit the cleaners were there after me and I assume they did it and are blaming me as it sounded like they didn’t tell him either. That put a bad taste in my mouth about everything. Other than that I will say that we did enjoy our stay at the big house and most of the other reviews are spot on. Lots of stairs with narrow hallways…basic apartment centrally located…noise isn’t an issue and there are many many restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 minute walk. Other than the one issue we had post stay, the hosts were great. I don’t think it’s fair to review my entire experience based on this negative interaction and I won’t. Thank you to Stefano for everything.
