This cabin was an absolute gem. Tucked away in a remote area, it felt incredibly private and peaceful, with a beautiful pond just outside that made the whole setting feel like a retreat from the world. The studio layout is simple but perfect, and the huge windows are the star of the show—you can sit inside and watch wildlife while taking in the stunning scenery. One of my favorite features was the lovely manmade water feature. Water flows from behind the house and gently spills into the pond, creating the most soothing sound. There’s a window right next to the bed that you can leave slightly open at night, and falling asleep to the sound of the water was pure magic. If you’re looking for quiet, privacy, and a place to truly relax and connect with nature, this cabin is absolutely perfect.

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the Terrapin Hideaway Pond Slider. The perfect place to unwind in a private and tranquil setting listening to the surrounding babbling brook and waterfall. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, feeding the fish, soaking in the hot tub, and relaxing by the fire. We will definitely return for another getaway.

This is a small cabin perfect for 2 for a small get away. The landscaping is beautiful and you can't look out a window without seeing tranquil beauty. The owners are very quick to respond to answer questions and help with your needs. The patio umbrella was broken upon arrival and they replaced it the next morning. The cabin is very clean and provides everything you need. We enjoyed out stay.

Sunny summer weekend getaway

The property is private, serene and peaceful. We booked the cabin for 3 nights for two adults and our dog. The cabin is all windows (360 degrees) which gives you beautiful views of nature and serenity. Even with wall to wall windows, the cabin offers blackout drapes for easy sleeping and privacy when needed. The cabin is one of three on the property, but the only one with deck access to the large, stocked pond. The cabin is perfect for a couple and a pet. It truly is a studio with modern features and accommodations that is tailored for a couple's retreat. The hosts have decorated the property very tastefully, and even provide a small amount of fish food, so guests can feed the fish in the pond on their visit...great touch!

Our was a short get away, we had such a relaxing time sitting on the deck. They left fish food out, we had no idea we could get such enjoyment from feeding fish! Beautiful place with a backdrop only God could create.

This was one of the best stays we have had in Hocking Hills. The landscaping was amazing. The cabin itself was breathtaking. They thought of every individual personal touch. From the aromatherapy to the koi fish food. Everything you need is on site. I would absolutely stay here again.
