Fun stay with history

It was on my Granddaughter's bucket list to visit this haunted domain. It was a great stay in our mini-suite. Got the haunted room 409 pictures, at the door.The walkable history lesson at the namsake museum is a must. It all made memories.

Blennerhassett, as usual, was awesome and the price was great. The bed was clean and comfortable, room was clean and supplied everything we needed. We did not eat there but enjoyed live music and a beverage.

Lovely Historic Property! Our Junior Suite exceptional in every aspect! Concierge and Historian, Adam, is a brilliant, knowledgeable and entertaining hotel tour guide! A true asset to the Hotel Team! Manager, Miss Betsy, went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly memorable weekend stay! Server, Alex and Bartender Felicia, made us feel truly welcomed and their service was outstanding! Nice quaint hotel with a lot of history but lacking a few little things that would have made this a five. There were no amenities in the bathroom other than soap and shampoo. A couple of Q-tips might’ve been helpful. There was a coffee maker but no bottled water was provided and we had to buy water from the front desk.

Over rated with very poor management

Asked if there was a guest laundry available and the checkin clerk offerred to have the laudry done for us. Took our laundry, said it would be done when we woke in the morning and suggested having dinner at their over-priced, mediocre restaurant.In the morning, the laundry was right where I had left it and was informed that it would not be done before checkout. I can understand mistakes being made, but whole reason for the poor rating is that when I asked to discuss the situation with a manager, they left me waiting in the lobby, ignored and refused my request.

The property was absolutely beautiful 😍. The staff were great, specifically Gary, in the lounge/bar area, and Marissa and Alaina, the night desk ladies. Gary continously made us feel welcomed, making sure we were taken care of during our dining times, and even spoke with us a bit on our last evening. Marissa spoke in length with us about the history and paranormal experiences as well as Alaina. They truly embraced the "Customer First" practice. Definitely will recommend and visit again.

Relaxation at its finest

We had a great stay. Even though the room was a little hot when when first got there due to the high temperatures and being on the top floor, the hotel brought in additional portable A/C to fix the problem and it worked great. I love this hotel because the staff is awesome and the food is fabulous. A great place to relax and treat yourself and family.
