The front desk staff are excellent, housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Did not keep to schedule, had to ask for room to be cleaned , twice. We were there for 8 nights. I expected way better. Location is fine, pets in the food area is a problem.

The only place we stay in Lewes/Rehoboth. Super clean, wonderful attentive staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, lots of space in the rooms, huge pool and convenient to get to beach, shops, wherever you want to go. We book here every time we go to the beach.

Friendly Staff, Frustrating Check-In

The hotel itself is very nice, but our experience was mixed. We arrived at 4:15, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. The front desk assured us it would just be five minutes and that by the time we got our belongings from the car, our key would be available. Instead, we ended up waiting in the lobby for 90 minutes. At 5:30, we were finally told a room was ready. When we got to the room, we found only two sets of towels, despite the reservation clearly noting a family of four. When we asked, we were told we had to return to the desk ourselves to retrieve additional towels—an inconvenience after already waiting so long to check in. The suite also had a maintenance issue: the large dresser in the bedroom had a drawer that wouldn’t stay closed. No matter how many times we shut it, it would drift open again. My son bumped into it several times, which was frustrating and could have been unsafe. That said, the housekeeping staff and the gentleman at the front desk were very kind and professional. The issue wasn’t with their courtesy but with the lack of timely turnaround and communication. If the wait was going to be 90 minutes, it would have been much better to communicate that upfront so we could plan accordingly rather than being left hanging. Overall, the hotel is attractive and the staff are friendly, but operational issues around room readiness, communication, and basic amenities made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been

There was mold in my shower and they didn't offer any accommodations. They told me the mold isn't dangerous. I received a partial refund because I stayed on night even though when I complained day one, they didn't offer me a full refund for canceling.

This is what you get if housekeeping is only coming around every 3thrd day of your stay This situation was the only issue I had during my stay.

What Free Breakfast?

Every single thing about the stay was great, until it was time for the free breakfast. My kids love going to get breakfast at a hotel, but our experience here was not great. Breakfast was to be served until 0930, and we arrived around 0820. Once we started to see what was available to eat, one female staff member started telling everyone that breakfast was being taken away because there were no clean utensils. We asked if they could be washed, but she just said, “no”. Then she proceeded to take everything out of the breakfast area, including fruit, muffins, bread, cereal, etc…some of those things do not need utensils. A lot of people were upset, but that staff member didn’t care.
