This hotel was a very pleasant surprise – we absolutely loved our stay! We arrived later in the evening and were warmly welcomed, which set a great tone right away. The happy hour with a glass of wine was a lovely touch. We were in town for a wedding and found the location perfect. The rooms were very clean and had a cozy, intimate feel. I especially loved the soft blue lighting throughout the hotel – it created such a relaxing atmosphere. The fireplace in our room added a warm, inviting touch as well. The only downside was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and a full-size mattress would’ve been nicer if it were a bit larger. However, the pillows were great! The rooftop pool offered a beautiful view of the town and was very clean. We were able to walk to beach, & the town for breakfast, and there was a restaurant conveniently located right across the street for dinner. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be staying here again!

Great Lewes Hotel

Hotel Blue is a wonderful gem located a 2 minute stroll from town and very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Roof deck is a great place to relax or dip in the (small) pool. Happy hour wine on Fridays and Saturdays was a welcome addition to the services.

This hotel was perfect for our long weekend away to cekebrate our anniversary. The room was beautiful with a fantastic layout and lots of room. A balcony with 2 chairs. And a bathroom with both a shower and separate tub and double sink. The little details made it special: a bottle of champagne welcome; a free wine happy hour in the lobby: an infrared sauna on the top floor; great personalized service at the front desk; live potted plant in the room; great coffe machine and tea selection and it is walkable to Lewes beaches and downtown (less than 1/2 a mile to the beach and 2 blocks to town). If we come back to Lewes- this is our go to place!

We love Hotel Blue. The only reason for the 4 star review rather than 5 is that the pool was closed due to maintenance issues and we had not been made aware of that at the time of booking and I was very disappointed not to be able to use the pool. Everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean accommodations, and complimentary wine in the lobby.

The Hotel Blue is perfectly located in downtown Lewes for shopping and restaurants but close to the beaches. The suites are clean and very roomy. It was our home away from home. The staff were friendly and helpful. We look foward to staying there again.

The location in Lewes was great. The room was clean and large with a balcony and a great view. Steve and all the staff were friendly and professional. The only drawback was that the pool was under construction during our visit and we weren't aware of that until we arrived for our stay.

Cute hotel very close to beach and downtown Lewes (just have to walk over the bridge). The room was very nice with a high ceiling, and we LOVED the coffee bar in the lobby. It was very quiet and had a cute balcony. Staff was great and very friendly, and parking right in front of entrance. Cons: The pool was closed for renovations when we got there, and the bed was very soft.

I liked the vibe of the hotel and that it was adults only. The room was decorated nicely and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge. Coffee was plentiful in room and lobby and we had a refrigerator in the room. The only negative was that the pool was closed on the 3rd and 4 th of July.
