The check in was quick. It is convenient to interstate 5. On the other hand, the area around the motel is isolated and there is a questionable apartment building next door. There was no safety latch on my room.

Comfortable Bed. Friendly staff. Clean except floor needed sanitizing. The difficult thing was that the air conditioner was aimed right at one’s head all night and could not be adjusted.

The building is located not far from the highway, so it’s very noisy, and there are quite a few drug users in the area, which makes it feel unsafe. On the plus side, the rooms have been remodeled, which is a nice touch. It’s not immediately obvious how to enter the building—there are signs on both sides saying the entrance is on the opposite side, which is confusing. If you stay on the first floor, noise from the second floor is very noticeable.

Room was fine, clean, roomy, a bit barren though. The breakfast was a joke. No meat, no bagels, no bananas, no coffee. No coffee! And the desk attendant was right there pointing everyone to the empty coffee pot.

I am regret to stay here for visiting of Lassen Volcanic National Park. It’s the worst Day’s Inn ever. There are hairs on pillow and face towels, the strong smell of weed from upstairs the whole night. If you ask why I didn’t ask for a new room, that’s the second room I have. The first room assigned which is even not ready! The card key still left on the table, the whole room is messy, I am not sure if the people had left!

Check your window latches before going to bed.

We learned on our last night there that there are no screens on the window and that one of our windows had been unlatched. We don’t know for how long but it made us uncomfortable. Take bug spray with you there’s a bunch of bugs outside at night and keep a flashlight on in the bathroom, the light kept automatically turning off on us.
