When booking online through Travelocity, it said the room i was booking had a sofa bed too to sleep a total of 5 people. When i got there, they said they didnt have any rooms with sofa beds due to a fire hazard and no cots to use either for that same reason. Not sure if it was Hampton Inn's mistake or Travelocity's.

Convenient location to university. The feel of the building and room needs a little updating.

Nice hotel, close to downtown Raleigh.

Pros: The hotel rates were better than competitors. Breakfast variety. Snack bag.
Cons: Someone, perhaps staff, refilled ice buckets each morning 4:30-5:00 a.m. which was disturbing. The bacon was not crispy.
I felt safe at this location. The hotel was within walking distance of IHOP and within close driving proximity of grocery stores and restaurants.

Thumbs up for Hampton Inn!

Hotel was clean and inviting with friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and area was kept clean and stocked. Beds were soft and not great for people with back problems. Bathroom in room was extremely small with limited room to maneuver. Overall, we were pleased with Hampton Inn and would recommend for brief stays.

Three thumbs up!

Hotel room was amazingly immaculate, including bathroom. I ck'd areas which were usually overlooked even in some of the finer hotels, and not a speck. It was so clean that I found myself trying to maintain it while I stayed. :) The service at front desk was a pleasant experience. They even have a a small coffee/tea room which had fresh coffee and pastries (too cute!). I vowed to stay here whenever I visited Raleigh, as long as the excellent service remains.
