A lot of work is going into the property and they are working hard to update rooms.The indoor pool area was nice, but the hot tub was empty. The linens on one of our beds were stained, but the beds were comfortable. The staff we spoke to were helpful and pleasant.

Nice

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, a but more than grab and go, they had a waffle maker and warm biscuits and gravy. The room had a bathroom door that was a bit hard to get to close and the hotel itself was under construction. The pool was perfect, not too much chlorine smell and perfect temperature. We would stay there again.

Wallpaper peeling off and bubbling up. Carpets throughout the building were dirty and smelled like stale cigarettes. However, it is convenient to Ft Knox - 6 minute drive.

Close to Fort Knox but not worth it!

We notified hotel we would be arriving at 10pm. We were given the first room next to lobby. There were no bath towels for showers except hand towels. Bathroom door was unable to shut properly, caulking, sheet rock from cracks in the bathroom tub/ wall were in the tub. Towels had orange stains on them. Sheets had what appeared to be stains but we were told if they were grey it was due to housekeeping directly pouring bleach on stains. Carpet was sticky, found candy wrappers and unused dipping sauce in dresser drawers. Went to hang my dress to find NO closet or hangers. When I went to desk I was pointed to a sign excusing their dust. Apparently, all closets are being removed and hangers will not be replaced. Finally on our last night, the small bathroom light burnt out. No one replaced it, this is also where the toilet was so people had to keep the door open for both light and that door couldn’t close properly. Finally, there wasn’t appropriate charging areas for phones etc. had to disconnect hair dryer to charge electronics. Some staff were apologetic, others just responded with a simple “I don’t know” or pointed to the excuse the dust sign.

When we got there, there were workers painting in the hallway. I get it, maintenance is needed; however, I was concerned about the paint fumes since I was staying with my baby. There was also a part of our room where the floor was exposed...so i did not feel comfortable letting my baby crawl on the floor, as it was also not very clean. I asked to switch to a room in a different area than the paint or a room with a floor that was't ripped apart, but they said they were fully booked so we had to stay put. Overall not a great experience. At least they had a waffle maker!

Worst hotel stay ever!

I looked at reviews on Gold Vaults website… it was rated an 8 of 10….. it was dirty.. the carpets haven’t seen a vacuum in months, at least. The shower in one of our rooms only worked with cold water while the microwave didn’t work at all. In the other room there were wet sticky spots here and there on the carpet, dust everywhere and to make matters even worse the night before we left ( pretty late when we got back ) we saw roaches crawling up the wall.
