Quiet garden Oasis

We spent 3 days here at the end of our Costa Rica adventures and we loved it! The hotel does not have ocean views but it does have a beautiful garden setting where we saw agouti, eguana and beautiful butterflies while relaxing by the pool. We had two rooms overlooking the gardens and a lovely private terrace. The hotel location is perfect and easy walking distance to lots of great ocean view restaurants and bars, but we we're always greatful to return to the peaceful garden at the end of the evening out. It is a 10 minute walk down hill to the beach and very easy to catch a local bus back up if you don't feel like the uphill hike. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely choose to stay here on our next trip.

Underrated!

Pros: Beautiful room and wonderful staff.
Cons: Nothing that mattered to me
Location: A longish walk to the beach but easy enough for anyone in decent shape, a quick drive into town.
Didn't expect much of this place when booking and looking at the photos. However, the hotel is much nicer than it appears in the pictures. I had the breakfast which was nothing special by any means, but never ate dinner at the hotel. The pool is pretty sad but I didn't stay there with the idea of using it. The room was gorgeous-newly remodeled and decorated. Private bungalow-like with a front porch and hammock. Massive bathroom and bed with mosquito netting. It was adorable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was close enough to town (a short ride) and walkable (a bit of a walk though) to the beach. I would stay here again and recommend.

Wonderful Hotel in the Middle of the Rainforest!

Pros: The grounds and setting were beautiful and the infinity pool was so refreshing! Loved Happy Hour!
Cons: Not A Thing!
Location: Close to Manuel Antonio Rainforest, several beaches, and the Pacific Marina! Also great Restaurants nearby.
This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, no matter which country I've been in! The hotel itself was well appointed with clean, well-kept rooms with wonderful linens and fabulous bug netting (although, I never saw any!)! The staff was exceptional. They were so friendly and the service was impeccable! Our bartender and waiter, Geraldo, was most attentive and very good at his job! Louis, the main man, was an absolute pleasure to chat with and he took such very good care of myself and my daughter. The morning waiter and the chef and his crew were also the best at their craft. All of our meals were worthy of 4 stars! We had such relaxation there, not to mention the Squirrel Monkeys and White Faced Capuchins who visited us at breakfast and sometimes by the pool! The maid was also great in keeping our room in tip-top shape. Rest assured, we will be staying at the Falls again, should we have the good fortune to return to Manuel Antonio!

Wonderful Stay

My stay at The Falls was amazing - the room and grounds were gorgeous, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the restaurant/bar was great, too. The hotel is located a quick bus ride from the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park, and is surrounded by various restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend staying at The Falls for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay while visiting Manuel Antonio.

Awesome and very reasonable hotel -Manuel Antonio

Pros: Nice rooms, great food and peaceful environment.
Cons: Room was a bit dark but fine with that.
Location: Manuel Antonio, rainmaker private reserve. Look up Roy Orozco or Manuel Cabalceta Mendez ad a private guide. Really helpful and reasonable.
The Falls was an great place to stay to visit Manuel Antonio, Rainmaker and the surrounding are. Wonderful staff, quiet room (#2 away for bar area) and great full breakfast. Could not recommend it more.

Exterior is deceiving

When you pull up to this hotel, it looks like a whole in the wall. The inside is a different story. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant and bar are comfortable and serve tasty, reasonably priced items. My daughter loved the pool. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful hotel and staff, great environment!

Pros: Nice, friendly, and very helpful staff, beautiful garden atmosphere, convenient location, room decor, clean!
Cons: The pool is small but very inviting. Maybe adding better lighting in the rooms and the lobby area. They are beautifully decorated but dark.
Location: Manual Antonio park, beautiful public beaches, mangroves, restaurants, Holis spa and yoga studio, views, hill walking, stand up paddling, surfing, etc
I enjoyed my stay at the Falls. The environment is a lush tropical garden that almost feels like you are actually within the confines of Manual Antonio park itself. I saw lots monkeys, birds and iguanas, lizards on the hotel property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have seen complaints about the breakfast not having enough choices but that was not an issue for me... the breakfast buffet had yogurt, a variety of fruit, breads, cereal, and usually another dish like empanadas or cheese and tomato. In addition there is a menu where you can order up to 3 dishes our of a list of 5 (pancakes, french toast, potatoes, rice and beans, eggs). That was plenty of food in my opinion! And it was fresh and tasty, coffee was just right. I found it to be a great value and I would stay there again!
