Enchanted Apartment se encuentra en un lugar tranquilo , junto a la jungla , y el despertar de cada mañana con el sonido de la mano creadora, el cantar de las diferentes aves , Como los bellos tucanes, Lapas, Colibis,, y el jugueteo de muchas cherengas , la alegría de las diferentes especies de Monos que ofrece Manuel Antonio, los bellos venados y las diferentes notas musicales del el viento al pasar por lo verde del bosque ,
los Esperamos .!!
( nota hay 150 metros sin Pavimento antes de llegar , el pueblo es sencillo con unas 3 casitas humildes o pobres pero personas honradas de trabajo , serviciales siempre dispuestas a sonreír , estrechar su mano y ayudarles cuando el huesped lo necesite. son el carácter del lugar y muy orgullosos de lo que tienen. ( le brindamos servicio de limpieza durante la estadía con costo adicional , horario flexible y debe de ser solicitado por el huesped)

The property manager, Itza, was extremely friendly and accommodating (she's also an excellent masseuse!). We found that the room we booked was double-booked when we arrived but Itza was able to put us in another room (smaller with less amenities - no view of rainforest) for two of the four days we were there. The tour vans had difficulty reaching the apartments due to steep, narrow, and sharp turns. It's best to have a car because attractions, restaurants, and shopping are some distance away on very busy roads without sidewalks. Very comfortable beds, air-conditioned bedrooms. The kitchen and living space (days 3-4 original booked room) was open to the rainforest which was wonderful. Lots of wildlife to observe and hear (including an early morning Howler monkey).

The staff was friendly, the pictures show exactly what the room looked like, and I especially liked the bathroom. We were very comfortable and happy. The only issue we had was a pilot light not working on the stove but they brought us a lighter when they got our message. What they didn't say is that there is also a shared pool and main area of the house that everyone can use. We found that out when we showed up, it was wonderful. Lovely place.

Itza was great! The space was clean, it is very open concept. You have an enclosed space with the bed and ac at night but amenities like kitchen (with gas burners — which we loved), washroom and shower are on patio. It is a beautiful location.

Property nice/ host rude and disrespectful

The property was next to the jungle as described. There is no sign at the property so it is difficult to find and when the driver spoke to the host, she was rude and disrespectful. When I complained she asked me if I wanted to cancel reservation after the shuttle had already arrived and was paid for. The host gives costa ricans a bad name. Passsengers in the shuttle were delayed due to searching for this property and really ruined my first day there. I am thankful for the wonderful housekeeper who was extremely accommodating, helpful,and very respectful. This host gives vrbo a bad name and I will be more careful when booking worth vrbo in the future. The description did not say it was a shared kitchen, dining, and bathroom. Noone rented the other bedroom that was that was not airconditioned so we had our privacy. Not much was walking distance as the description. Due to this we had to pay for taxis when we thought everything was walking distance. I communicated with the housekeeper instead of the host due to her lack of diplomacy an extreme rude attitude. I will not stay at this property in the future due to the host. Shame on you VRBO for not vetting the host and proerty. The two reveiws I read must be family or friends of the host.. Totally disappointed.

Jungle Adventure

We had an amazing stay! Itza was very accommodating, and had wonderful recommendations. The house was absolutely beautiful and was just as fantastic as the pictures. As we were not the only guests in the house and weren’t booked in the main house we didn’t have access to the pool, but Itza generously allowed us to use the pool before the other guests arrived. There is nothing I would have changed it was a wonderful experience.

Great for nature lovers

We loved our three week stay at the Enchanted Apartment. If you want to be IN the jungle, IN a typical Costa Rican neighborhood this is a great option for you. This place allowed us to be in nature with the added luxuries of comfy beds, screens when the mosquitoes came out, an amazing bathroom, a very cold fridge and freezer, and even A/C in one bedroom. We loved being in a tico neighborhood and felt welcome and safe there. We saw so much wildlife: capuchin/squirrel/howler monkeys; a variety of birds including woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and scarlet macaws; butterflies; agouti; lizards; and more. That said, if you do not like sharing space with insects & amphibians this might not be the best fit for your Costa Rican vacation. But if you enjoy it, book this place! Other bonuses to the location include a supermarket and soda that are within easy walking distance. We only rented a car for a few days to visit places farther out but the remainder of our time we found it easy to walk to the main road to catch the local bus to get wherever we wanted to go. My biggest advice if you choose to rent the Enchanted Apartment is to communicate. Itza is WONDERFUL and she will do everything she can to make your stay enjoyable. Itza went above & beyond. She made us feel at home & we were so delighted to get to know her. They were doing a lot of work on the house while we were there and adding some amenities. It’s already a great place to stay and they are making it even better!
