Front desk staff was excellent. Breakfast was nice. Didn’t like the guests smoking in the front entranceway. They were loud first thing in the morning. The ashtray should have been at the far end of the property.

The rooms are renovated and were clean and comfortable. The pool is a bit dated but is great for kids as the whole pool is 3’ deep. The staff at the front desk, the housekeeping staff and the staff for the free breakfast were all very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely book this property for a family vacation again.

Hotel was fine overall, though we did not feel it matched up to the Expedia rating (9.2/wonderful). Bathroom was pretty dismal and needed a deep clean. Walls, light switches, and even ceilings had dirty handprints on them. We checked in late (check in was quick and the employee was welcoming) and upon arriving in our room, noticed that the bathroom door squeaked extremely loudly anytime we touched it. The door was so loud it woke us up overnight whenever one of us would use the washroom. We ended up buying some WD 40 the next day which solved the problem immediately. It made us wonder - Why wouldn’t the hotel have completed such a simple maintenance task long before it got that bad? Pros: beds were comfortable enough, location was good (across the street from mini golf and relatively close to shops etc), breakfast was really good and generally well-stocked Cons: in need of a good cleaning, pillows were somehow both lumpy and flat (recommend bringing your own if you can!), water pressure in shower was non-existent Would stay here again if the price is right (but would bring my own pillow and a big pack of Lysol wipes).
