"Very spacious clean accommodations. Quiet area. I brought food supplies for 4 days. However, there is no food storage or pantry for the food storage so I left all non-perishable food items on the table. Two things that needs to be added: at least 2 boxes of tissues & a colander. How can one make spaghetti without a colander! I knew that the Lodge was closed due to passing by a few months ago, but I don’t think the ad mentioned that. Had the Lodge been opened, it would have saved making a couple of meals.I would recommend adding to the rental that there are lots of stairs. Someone who is 77 & 79 probably shouldn’t rent cabins with lots of stairs! However, the photos showed a thousand words.My favorite room was the library. The selection of books was phenomenal!All in all, this was a relaxing experience.This was a great getaway so close to home & the temperature was rewarding after having many days around the 100 degree mark."
