Location, Location, Location! This large, gorgeous, historic island home is located on Toledo Avenue, on the edge of the three-block downtown district. The home has an open kitchen, dining, and living space that was designed for entertaining. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with showers. It can accommodate up to 16 people. When it’s time to relax and kick back, The Queen Elizabeth House has a large, full-screened enclosed back porch that overlooks the National Park and Perry's Monument.

The space
Celebrating 55 Years! Originally launched in 1970 by Mary Sutphin, The Queen Elizabeth House was purchased by the current owners in late 2024 marking the 55th anniversary! The most recent updates included the addition of many new features including a newly renovated full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and massive granite island. Newly remodeled bathrooms, island, historic, and locally crafted décor, custom quad queen bunk room, games, high-speed enterprise WIFI, HBO Max, Netflix, and streaming YouTube TV service are among some of the upgrades. The Queen Elizabeth keeps the title of the nicest rental home on the island and best place for entertaining! It features a large open living room, dining room and game area. Fresh, clean linens and towels along with all bathroom, kitchen, and grilling essentials are provided for your stay. Come relax and know that you will have everything you need!

You will have exclusive access to the entire 2,200+ square foot house, the screened-in porch, gazebo, front yard, rear grilling and gravel lounge area with solostove bonfire, back yard, front patio, and front driveway with 2 spaces for vehicle and/or golf cart parking.

Other things to note
Downtown home with multiple views of Lake Erie and Perry's Monument. Nestled in the heart of downtown across from the Chamber of Commerce, you are in the middle of EVERYTHING! On one side is the monument and bathing beach, on the other, restaurants, bars & entertainment. No need for transportation. Located only 1 block from the Jet Express! Across from the Miller Ferry Bus Depot, and immediately next door to A&B Golf Cart Rental.

We welcome birthdays, small receptions, family reunions, small bachelor and bachelorette parties, friendly gatherings, and all family friendly events that follow ALL our rules. All parties and events must strictly follow the rules on maximum guest occupancy, quiet hours, safety, and must only include guests who are responsible adults respectful of the local laws, the house rules, our property, and our wonderful
neighbors. Please carefully review the house rules before booking!

Absolutely beautiful home in an ideal location. 2 minute walk to downtown and even closer to the Jet. Wonderful back outdoor area with fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Very nicely renovations and cute decor. We had 11 adults and fit very comfortably. All rooms and baths were as advertised.

Relaxing family vacation

We’ve stayed at this property several times and continue to love it. The screened porch is our favorite place to hang out. From there you can view not only the lake but also Perry’s monument. You can hear music from town but it’s not overwhelming. We enjoy it every year.

Outstanding Accommodations!

Over the last 10 years we have stayed at many different rental spots on Put-In-Bay, but this is by far our best experience. The Queen Elizabeth is an impeccably-kept property that perfectly embodies the feel of the island. Seamless from start to finish! It is not only decorated to perfection but is cozy, yet roomy and has the best layout to host a group comfortably. So many spots to congregate all with ample room and seating. The home was completely updated (yet true to PIB charm) spotless and provided all of the staples (and then some) to make our stay even easier. The location is another five star feature. We always opt for cart rental, but with QE being in the heart of it all, you can fully enjoy the island on foot quite easily. Our family was in awe of this property being not only exactly as pictured - but even better in person! We are thankful to Chad and Michelle for hosting us on another successful vacation on the bay - the very best to date!

Great Vacation Home

We've stayed several times at this property. Its perfect for our family vacation. The kids enjoy the bunk bed room alot. In fact they don't want to leave the house to go anywhere. We adults enjoy sitting on the back porch but we also enjoy leaving the house to walk into town. Its just steps away from everything. We'll be back again next year.

Bachelorette Party!

This VRBO was perfect for our bachelorette party! I can't say enough great things. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. It's beautifully decorated and is the perfect location if you're looking to be close to all the action. The pictures don't do justice & also show some carpet, which now has updated wood floors, that's a plus! Chad & Michelle were very quick at responding with any questions I had as well. Highly recommend this place!

The best!

I cannot say anything bad about this property. Owners are great, house is beautiful, and has the perfect location. Close enough to walk anywhere on the strip but far enough you dont get the noise pollution. Had a blast playing the games provided and fire pit was perfect for the cool evenings. Will be back next time in the area!!

Leading up to our arrival, the owners were amazing at answering any questions I had and in a timely manner. When we arrived, we were in awe of the house. The pictures don't do this home justice. Its beautiful, spacious, the layout is perfect and the location is perfect. The outdoor firepit area was so nice to sit around. We had 16 girls and no one had one complaint. Best weekend we have ever had at PIB and we can't imagine coming up and not staying at the Queen Elizabeth.

Beautiful and Relaxing Home - Great for Families

This was our second time staying at this property and once again we were not disappointed in anything! The house is clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and games for the family. The location is perfect. So close to town you don't need to rent a golf cart unless you want one for the pure fun of it. We especially loved the enclosed porch that overlooks the lake and the monument. Spent every morning and evening enjoying that view. We plan on staying here again next year!

Perfect Location, Comfortable Home

We had a wonderful visit at the Queen Elizabeth house. First, the location! It is the best location on the island, IMO. So much is within walking distance, and don’t even worry about noise. The inside of the house is quiet and you aren’t bothered by anything nearby. The house itself is beautiful. The inside is completely updated with very nice kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We stayed with family and our daughter. Great place for a family vacation!

This place is simply amazing! The owners thought of everything! The kitchen is well stocked, the space is updated, beautifully furnished and very comfortable, location is convenient and even the supplied shower toiletries smell good!
