FIVE STARS with complete endorsement of this resort. My sister and I came for a 4 day weekend escape from Atlanta. From the first moment walking into the lobby it was beyond our expectations. Spotlessly clean, safe, courteous staff and phenomenal food as well as a myriad of activities. Great. Great. Great from two seasoned super picky travellers. My sister said this place was like an Adult luxury health camp. No kids appreciated greatly! ADULTS ONLY. We WILL be back and checking out another Melia soon. Activity director and aquatics leader Girely was particularly helpful.

The room location we got was great, a few damages to the room were noted upon arrival but nothing overly bothersome. Overall staff and service were disappointing. Flagging down staff members at the morning/ lunch buffet for a water or coffee was difficult. Our concierge was off until 3 o’clock everyday and we were not made aware. Expedia booking provided us with additional benefits like turn down service which we only received one night. Other vacation’ers we spoke to during our stay seemed to have the same overall consensus.

I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts. This was the worst by far. We got to our room and the bathroom reeked of sh*t. We had to beg the people at the front multiple times before they finally sent someone 5 HOURS later to clean the bathroom. Food was mid at best.

We came in thinking this resort would be another all-inclusive with watered-down drinks and buffet-style dining… but wow, were we wrong! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. The service was incredible — our butler, Gilberto, went above and beyond all week. If you get the chance, ask for him! You won’t regret it. There were plenty of activities throughout the day, and we loved that you don’t even need to leave the resort to stay entertained. The gym and fitness classes were a big plus for us too. My mom, who’s 60, said it was the best trip of her life — she was thrilled with the variety and quality of the food and cuisines offered. Overall, this resort offers the perfect balance: fun nightlife, relaxation during the day, and exceptional service all around. This was an amazingly experienced. We booked a regular room (not level) but upon arrival at check in we were greeted and informed that we've been upgraded to the level status because we booked through expedia. From that moment on the experience superseded my expectations. We were assigned 2 amazing gentlemen as concierge Jorge and Maxwell. They were attentive and there to see to all our needs. During this vacation i literally never lifted a finger to do anything for myself. The food was amazing at the restaurants and as level the drinks were premium and strong. All top shelf spirits such as grey goose patron and Hennessy! They property is absolutely beautiful and pristine. It is an environment dedicated to relaxation so the loud pool music and activities you won't get here but i totally enjoyed the quiet and the swim up har was the absolute best! The bartenders were amazing friendly and engaging! The room was of premium quality with awesome bedding and a furnished spacious balcony and fully stocked mini bar. The room was immaculately clean and modern and housekeeping was was there daily! Ive read some bad reviews about this resort and almost canceled this booking out of fear of disappointment but im glad i didnt. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had at any resort on island that I've traveled to. Melia is now my go to resort on any trip i take in rhe future if available. The staff was feiendly and helpful. The soa experience was great. The food options were better than expected. The whole atmosphere was relaxing. I will be back.

We stayed at Melia Punta Cana Beach resort in October. Despite the unsettled weather due to Storm Melissa we had a very relaxing break which was our main aim due to a difficult year. The resort is beautiful, well laid out with such lovely areas where you can chill and relax. The main pool is huge and the swim up bar is perfect. We stayed in the Level rooms which I do think were worth the additional cost as we received amazing service for drinks at the pool and on the beach, and access to a lovely roof top bar for cocktails. We also preferred the restaurant Quimera which is only available to level guests. The Spa is beautiful and received a free 30 minute massage which we paid a small additional cost to have a 50 minute massage which was perfect. However the main thing that made our holiday so perfect were the staff. As a Level guest we were provided with a concierge who is on hand to make restaurant reservations and assist with any requests you may have throughout your stay. To be honest this service isn’t something we necessarily felt we would need but then we met Maxwell who was so wonderful, always cheerful and such a pleasure to meet. Maxwell gauged perfectly how much assistance we needed and we did not feel he intruded on our holiday but was there if we needed him. Thank you Maxwell for everything, you absolutely made our stay amazing. The staff are all so friendly but Yocira was just incredible and greeted us with her gorgeous smile and made us feel so special.

My experience Meliá Punta Cana Beach was simply exceptional. From the very beginning, the staff from the Level provided outstanding service, always warm, professional, and eager to exceed expectations. Every detail, from the welcome to the farewell, reflected true dedication and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Great room, restaurants, bars, activities! Special shoutout to Rebecca and Natividad at guest services for being so informative and helpful. Rebecca kept sending us helpful activity information and booking our reservations for restaurants. Nati was great with coordinating meals with the rest of our group which was a challenge for being a group of 11 and helped with a special birthday surprise in our room. Overall great resort lots of activites beautiful beach front great food and drinks. Come here for a good and relaxing timing.
