Guest Access:

Drive up to the villa to drop off luggage easily. Free street parking is available on nearby adjacent streets. Parking is not permitted in the alley itself, but guests have never had issues finding convenient nearby parking.



The Neighborhood:

Villa Amistad is located in El Cerro, Puerto Vallarta's historic heart—one of the city's original hillside neighborhoods overlooking Banderas Bay. Our quiet cobblestone alley is home to longtime Mexican families, creating an authentic, close-knit community where neighbors know and look out for each other. It feels genuinely Mexican, lived-in, and safe.

Guests love staying here because they can walk to downtown energy, beaches, restaurants, and nightlife—then return to a peaceful, local neighborhood that offers spectacular ocean views and the real Puerto Vallarta experience.



Getting Around:

The Malecón is just a 5-minute walk downhill. The Romantic Zone, Los Muertos Beach, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within 5–25 minutes on foot. The hill up to the villa is moderate; guests who prefer not to walk find Ubers and taxis readily available and very affordable throughout Puerto Vallarta. Local buses run along the main roads below and cost 10 pesos (exact change required).

Families with Children

Families are welcome, but please note the villa is not childproof. There is an unfenced pool, open stairs, low railings, and breakable artwork and pottery. No children's furniture or toys are provided. We encourage parents to reach out before booking to ensure the villa is a good fit.



Interaction with Guests:

We live onsite in separate private apartments and are available if you need anything—local tips, service coordination, restaurant recommendations, or assistance—while fully respecting your privacy. You may occasionally see us tending to the villa or briefly using shared spaces when unoccupied, always with guest comfort as our priority. We're here to help as much or as little as you'd like, ensuring your stay is smooth, relaxing, and memorable.
