What a Gem!

Great hotel located in a great area, walking distance to everything. It's on top of a hill, so beware of that. Room was incredibly comfy, cute, and beautifully done. Mattress was comfy (super important to me), shower was good as well. Plenty of amenities in the room, mini fridge super helpful too. Breakfast was simple but delicious: fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee and tea and all of that with a beautiful view!

Hidden Gem

The communication prior to arriving to the hotel was already amazing and the staff was so friendly in person. The view is the best part of this hotel, especially the rooftop by the pool (which they also serve banana bread, fruits, and coffee for breakfast). The room was pretty spacious and the air was cold enough, with no issues. Beautiful bathroom as well. We loved our stay so much and really enjoyed it! If you are on the main floor, you will hear people if they are loud though, as the door is kind of thin and as someone who's sensitive to noise, I was surprisingly ok with it, although I prefer it a little quieter, but it was still great.

Location seems difficult at first, but the stairs leading down to the PV malecón are easy...it's climbing back up that can be challenging, but not insurmountable. The hotel is lovely, super quiet (no tv in rooms)...view from the rooftop jacuzzi area is spectacular.

The staff is lovely: friendly, gracious, helpful. Oswaldo, the manager (or, so I believe) is a huge asset to the property. In fact, the best thing about it. This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve booked rooms through Expedia and I’m not impressed. Overall, most of the pics and descriptions are misleading or false. There appears to be significant “doctoring”. As such, the guest arrives with certain expectations and are immediately disappointed when they can’t be met. The photos on Expedia rarely look like the rooms or property in person. Advertised room or hotel amenities are rarely accurate. Hotel Nawalli has the potential to be a 4 star hotel, but it’s between a 2.5-3. The hotel and rooms are clean, but the balconies don’t have much overhang so there’s no protection from rain. You can’t leave your screen open if it’s raining. My room was comfortable. The bed was nice. A mini fridge came in very handy, but no microwave, despite plenty of room for one. Also, there’s no TV. The pool is lovely. Never anyone in it so it’s very private. Perhaps it’s because it’s very small. Personally, I like that. I’ve lost a lot of weight and muscle with a health condition and I’d drown in most pools. This one is safe for young children and elderly. It’s also warmer spent the size - a feature I personally like. Biggest prob: bugs. Carpenter ants everywhere: room, bed. balcony, hallway. Continental breakfast will leave you starving & I consume 1500 kcal/day. No elevator.

Wonderful place to stay walking distance to Malecon restaurants bars lots of good places to eat the employees so nice and helpful they go above and beyond if you need anything. The pool is wonderful to relax and enjoy the sunset and have a great cold drink. The room was great loved the view every morning.

New property with superb rooftop infinity pool and lounge area. The view from rooftop was amazing to watch sunsets and noghtly fireworks. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Entire property has hard flooring (marble?) which made it very slippery at the pool and in the shower. Watch your step!

Top stay at Casa Nawalli

I had the best stay at Casa Nawalli in Puerto Vallarta. The room, views and terrace with the pool and sun beds were amazing. Fabiola the hotel host was truly fantastic and made my stay and experience 10/10. She reached out to me prior to arrival and was on hand to ensure all arrangements were made before hand, even helping me with adjusting my check-in and check-out dates last minute. She had a great positive energy, was super sweet and friendly, and had great recommendations that made my experience in Puerto Vallarta even better. My room was spacious with a modern and sleek finish, the bathroom too! Made me feel right at home every time I was in there. The views as soon as I stepped out my room, and from the terrace above were incredible… something that I didn’t get sick of. The location of the hotel was also ideal to get to places, just be conscious of the incline to get to the hotel by foot… but worth it with the views you get from being at the highest point. Highly recommend Casa Nawalli, and huge thanks again to Fabiola and Escarlet who made the experience for me and should certainly be acknowledged for their work and positive attitude that makes the hotel what it is!
