The only thing we didnt like was that we were told we would have breakfast but when we got downstairs they said no breakfast and we couldn't check in a little eariler but beside that everything else was good

Great hotel, just don’t eat there!

If you book online through hotels.com or any other site, just go eat somewhere else. Don’t waste your time eating here because you will not get a special rate on their basic breakfast buffet style unless you booked with them direct. I booked two rooms for 4 days and 3 nights btw.

Excelente hotel, es pequeño, pero cómodo, la gente que me atendió es súper amable, está localizado en los portales del centro de cholula, hay de todo cerca, y el hotel es cómodo, es muy pequeño pero funciona bien. Muy limpio.

Hotel MS

As a first time visitor to Cholula, this hotel was clean and located in a great location. Keep in mind A/C is not the norm in this area of MX. The room is smaller than a typical hotel room within the U.S. the staff was diligent and the hotel and rooms were very clean.

Loud hotel with a terrible staff

This experience started out fine. It's a clean hotel with a good location in Cholula. However, there were two major issues I have with this hotel. The first it is the noise at night. Like many places in MX, the halls have an echo. Usually it's a guest or two that makes a little noise coming home, but I could hear the nighttime staff talking and laughing all night. The second issue occurred during checkout. I asked the front desk to call a taxi for us. When it arrived the driver asked for almost 40% more than the regular rate. I just thought he wanted to bargain which is fine, but he wouldnt come off his price. I asked the front desk lady, who personally knew the driver, if he was giving me a fair price and she said "yes it's a good price" even though every online travel tip site said it wasn't. I refused to agree to his amount and immediately found a cab outside for the correct amount. Now I don't mind bargaining with drivers and paying a gringo tax, but for the hotel staff to misquote fair prices to guests that are checking out, it's just sleazy and dishonest.

Small rooms but very nice, especially considering price. Modern rooms with safe. Either our TV or cable remote didn't work but no biggie. Front desk didn't know hours of local attractions and didn't offer to help find out. There's a restaurant attached. No free breakfast but there's literally dozens of places within a block or two. No elevator but it's only two floors. Tour buses are available from the zócalo. Good Wi-Fi in rooms. No AC.

Excelent place to stay.

The place is around a plaza so if you visit in major festivities expect to hear some noise. We were there prior to major Day of the Dead festivities and the noise was close to none. Know that you will not have a hard time finding a place to eat while staying in this location or places to visit. The night receptionist was very helpful in telling us what was happening around town and took the time to print out some locations for us to buy some Talavera and places to visit in Puebla. I cannot say that the morning receptionist had the same attitude but you cannot win it all. The place is very clean, prior to arriving I contacted the hotel about arriving a bit late and were very responsive in all my questions prior to arriving.

Simple, convenient, clean hotel

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The room was comfortable, and reminded me of being in a small, modern European hotel room. The bathroom was very modern and included soap and shampoo. Because the hallway floors are stone rather than carpet, you can hear people’s shoes and suitcases make noise if they are coming through at odd hours. The check-in process was quick, though it took me a little while to realize that the wifi information was printed in a binder inside a drawer in the room (I’m used to getting it on a little slip of paper or it being printed on a placard at the front desk). The hotel is directly in the plaza, which means you’ll hear everything happening outside if your room is near the front of the hotel. I stayed over Thursday and Friday nights, and there was music happening late into the night. I am a light sleeper, so had to turn on my white noise app and use ear plugs to get to sleep. It’s reasonably priced and centrally located (within walking distance to the piramide/pyramid, several churches, tons of restaurants, and the main souvenir shopping district).
