This place was amazing to say the least. We were in love with Kauai and Hanalei Bay Resort. The views were incredible and the resort staff was great. We stayed for 2 nights during our honeymoon since we split our stay up with 3 other locations while visiting Hawaii and this one was by far my favorite due to location and the resort amenities. Everyone was so friendly and we were very close to Princeville and Hanalei. The property was beautiful and our room was clean. Just as pictured. I hope to come back one day. The resort did allow us to pay a small fee to stay and hangout on the property after checkout with access to the pool, beach, courts, hospitality room, bathroom, shower, restaurant/bar while we waited for our evening flight which was awesome and worth the price to hangout that day instead of leaving after checkout. Only complaint is washer dryer access is not free, you had to pay for each one in quarters and we did not realize this until late one night while trying to wash laundry. Not an issue just inconvenient.

Everything went exactly as planned with no surprises. The amenities, the view, the cleanliness of the unit and the location did not disappoint. Our host made sure that check in and out was as easy as possible. Thanks so much for an incredible experience.

Everything was in order. Clean, nicely updated and furnished unit. Beautiful view of the bay. Staff at resort was friendly and responsive. Resort amenities are great. Great pool, hot tub and beach access. Would have loved to play pickleball if it had rained a little less. There are 6 really nice courts. Would love to return to this unit and the resort!

Comfy bed with mountain & water views, plus we loved listening to the surf. The view of Hanalei Bay from the balcony is amazing & it was such a wonderful spot to relax. Plentiful bathroom amenities. Seth was easy to access & he gave an accurate description of the unit.

This unit is stunning, we loved spending time taking in the view on the lanai! The furnishings are updated and clean - we definitely will be back. Fair warning to future guests, you can hear your neighbors, but that should be expected with a shared unit.

Can’t beat this place for the price. 3rd time staying at hanalei bay resorts and this was my favorite room I’ve been in by far! Can’t beat the view, cleanliness of the room, or quality.

Our stay was everything I needed in terms of a relaxing vacation. The room is so nicely updated and well appointed. And the view from the lanai you almost can’t explain unless you’ve been there. It is breathtaking really. The host was quickly responsive to an inquiry and like the last time I stayed in the room, I’m looking forward to coming back.

We absolutely loved our honeymoon stay. The views are incredible, even while laying in bed. There were a few areas for improvement. There were a number of roaches and centipedes in our room during our stay. One roach was so large it flew past my wife’s head in the night and she heard it. It was very large. All other roaches in the room were smaller, but there were a dozen. We were lucky to have a quiet enough couple staying in the room connected to ours (it is separate suites connected by one locked door). If we had a family with young children, we would have had a very negative experience, as you hear every word and step from your neighbours. That all being said… the room was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The pool was gorgeous, food was good and there was amazing snorkeling at the beach a short stroll away. Overall, we found the price a little steep considering the bugs and noise, but would still overall recommend this place for an unforgettable stay.

HBR Room with a view

Great room with amazing view of Hanalei Bay. Loved waking up early and watching the surfers from the Lanai every morning. The description is of the room is accurate. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from the unit is spectacular! Although the price is not cheap, the view makes it worth it. Resort is nice, with access to the beach, onsite pool and restaurants. Overall a great experience. Only critiques are they charge extra for parking, which is sometimes difficult to find open spots and I wish they had a microwave in the unit. But like I said view is breathtaking

Incredible view - cannot beat it!

A beautiful view from our balcony that made everything better! There were issues with the bed that the owner had repaired while we were there. It's a tiny space without any kitchen or microwave etc as it's an adjoining bedroom connected to the main condo. Sound travels easily between the two spaces so be aware. A family with a crying baby next door was not muffled by the door connecting our rooms. Room was pretty clean, and staff were amazing. We will return but probably to a different unit. Seth was helpful throughout.

Amazing views and location!

The views from this condo are absolutely amazing! The place was seek, clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the sun come up and the early morning rain move through the bay. The resort has all the amenities you need including a laundry facility. This location is also perfect for exploring the North shore. Only a 5-10 min drive to Hanalei bay. 30 mins to Ha'ena State Park. Have patience with check in. The front desk didnt have our reservation when we arrived at check-in time. It might be because its booked through a 3rd party. However, the staff was still warm and welcoming. Also, remember to review the additional fee like resort, parking, check-in, cleaning...etc. It really adds up but understand some of this may be beyond the hosts control with the resort. Overall, a great place to stay. Its magical ♡ I would definitely visit again!
