1 Hotel had stunning views even from the rooms, many amenities such as multiple pools and gym with fitness classes, e-bike rentals, & friendly staff. It’s a perfect spot for relaxation. I absolutely love this hotel and recommend it!

Beautiful grounds, pools, and views, and good service. However, food was mediocre and extremely overpriced at every dining option. Also, room design, though aesthetically attractive, was very impractical with no privacy (one sink in area in full view, open shower, sliding glass door to toilet), low lighting, and few surfaces to put things on. I’d question the brand overall - fussy, expensive health food with very little flavor and all sorts of seemingly arcane health and wellness spa services (who’s getting their body fat measured on vacation?). Yes there were a few healthy looking people staying there but most were just ordinary seniors with money. Somehow I doubt they were getting in the sensory deprivation tank. Go for a few days to enjoy the pool and views - we did - but dine elsewhere if you can!

Fantastic hotel: location, amenities, service, food, room qualities, views...Pricey, with all the usual ancillary charges (the famous "resort fee"), but overall well worth it given the (mid-tier) quality of other north shore hotels. The design of the property alone, with its vistas of Hanalei Bay around every corner, plus the beautifully appointed rooms and great staff, makes it all worthwhile. Our only minor quibble is the service can be slow at times, especially at their main restaurant and bar, and with their bell (luggage) services. This might have been that they were understaffed given the slightly off-season time we were there, but at these luxury price points slow service, for whatever reason, should not be tolerated. To pay north of $1K per night I expect my food to arrive within a reasonable amount of time (say, within 20m). After all, while the food is very good it is not Michelin-starred (so why the long wait times...?) In the grand scheme of our stay this was minor and we would definitely return.
