Easily could have been the best stay of our trip but wasn't because the service fell short. People were nice but it felt like they didn't go out of their way to make things easier for us. The front desk has a sign to ask if you forgot anything as they have complimentary items available to help. I woke up with a headache and planned to take ibuprofen with breakfast but forgot to take it down with me. So i asked at the desk and was told I could purchase, not very helpful. Most hotels like this have card laundry machines or change making machines. I couldn't find the laundry so went to the front desk to ask wjere it was and was disappointed the staff didn't mention need exact change while i was there since it was upstairs on a different floor. Between there and oir room i ended up walking around three different floors multiple times.

This is a great spot if you don't need to be right in downtown Prescott. We're local but went here for a little "staycation" because my granddaughter dreamed of a winter swim. I called ahead to make sure the indoor pool was open, then booked. When we arrived the next day, Zac at the front desk - who I'd talked to on the phone - checked us in. He was friendly, very courteous, and efficient. The room was great. Spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and Disney on the TV. The fridge was clean and cold. The indoor pool area is great. There's a little kiddie pool, a normal pool, and a hot tub. The decor is very kid-oriented with faux palm trees and jungle animals. A giant elephant sprays water from his snout in the middle of the pool. This is awesome and a contrast to the much more sterile/boring indoor pools elsewhere in Prescott. The granddaughter had a blast swimming. There are several restaurants nearby. We just grabbed burgers and hot dogs at Five Guys, but there's also a Texas Roadhouse and a great local called Augie's very close by. The free hot breakfast was excellent. Bacon, omelets, biscuits and gravy (though the gravy was a bit thin), waffles, etc. There were even churro waffles. Anyway, we had a great staycation. At the end, my 5 y/o granddaughter looked at the pool and said, "Best weekend ever." Totally worth the very affordable stay!

Hampton Inn’s nonsense of demanding guests notify the desk each day they want their room made up—as if they’re asking for a favor or a perk—needs to be nipped in the bud. This is a basic service in any respectable hotel. And to tell me to my face this daily request requirement is ‘due to covid’ (which ended at least three years ago) is laughable. NOT laughable is that Hampton Inn does NOT tell you this new practice of theirs when you book your room. Only when they’ve got your money for at least one night do you learn of their latest scheme to cut costs by cutting customer service. They get two stars only because their morning breakfast layout was good. Next time I travel I will be skipping Hampton Inn and instead booking a creditable hotel.

Room and facility were clean upon arrival. My only issue is that they refused to clean room or bring towels on after first night stating, "we only offer room cleaning every other night in extended stays." I understand the principle of this but I payed the same price each night as if a single night requiring a full room cleaning but service was refused.

I was extremely impressed with this property! Not only was the hotel spotless, the rooms very spacious and updated, and the breakfast full of great choices, but the staff, particularly Chloe, went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. We definitely would consider the Hampton Inn again!
