"Pizza oven abd dollar general across the street"

Timber Inn
"We had a nice stay. I chose to book a "deluxe" room, a room that has been remodeled. We've been staying at this motel 2 or 3 times a summer for the past several years, and there were times it was awful to stay there. So grimy, and things were falling apart. The only saving grace was the view of the lake. However, current ownership seem to be working hard on improvements, and they are good, and it is so much nicer to stay now (in the remodeled areas). There was only one little glitch. When we first got there this last time, there was no one around, and when I called the phone number, no one answered. A very nice kitty kept us company. We left and came back later to check in. That was the only slightly annoying thing this last time around. Thank you for the improvements."
