Amazing :)

Havent been to a hotel for a while a friend of mine suggested this one and i will 100% be going back, staff are brillant and instantly help you, goimg for breakfast in the morning is so simple and lots of space to choose where to sit. The room was so nice, even has a shower you can make the glass seethrough on so your partner can watch you wash, public toilets are well maintained and clean. Lots of different type of people so the setting is great. Deliveroo comes up until 3am there (bonus!) Was an absolute perfect stay.

Other than cup sizes - excellent

I loved my stay at village. The room had everything I could ask for. Surprisingly the TV was a decent size and they had a super coffee machine there, the only issue which was the biggest problem- the cups were tiny. To make a coffee I had to have the most tiny cup. Other than that, exceptionally good quality

Avoid like the plague.

Extremely irritating noise from the gym on our second floor room. Loud music, treadmills and weights being dropped until past midnight. Filthy TV remote. Pillows like bags of potatoes. Lack of privacy in bathroom due to stupid glass wall design. No natural light just striped oblique window. Very noisy bathroom fan and door. Nowhere to put luggage. No answer from my Hotels.com message highlighting these issues I sent at 3 am due to lack of sleep from the above. All other hotels answer messages in this system promptly.

Village Gym

A great set up. Would recommend to book directly with hotel as using other sites yoou then have to pay for swimming and gym. A great place to stay and rest. Outdoor seating if you want to have a meal or drink. Staff are friendly and go out there way to make sure you have a wonderful time. I will be differently returning.

Modern but patchy

Mixed bag really. Check in were lovely, and breakfast staff also nice. Night porter was rather abrupt. I was surprised the bar closed at 12. I was also given an accessible room which was a bit of a problem - the sink was tiny and very low down, and the mirror stopped before my 6ft face - with moody lighting it made shaving a challenge!
