    Awesome Relaxing Vacation

    If you want a stress free relaxing trip book with these folks. You can boat to so many nice places, the house is very clean and setup nice. Oh and the pool is where your family will stay.

    The house is beautiful,clean and comfortable. Having a pool and boat to use makes it even better. Communication with host before ,and during trip was excellent.we had a few questions and responded immediately. I would definitely recommend. And my dog was welcome also!

    We enjoyed the home ,it was very clean and very well stocked with anything you could need . The pool and patio area was very nice with a gorgeous view and the boat was fun !

    Great Property!

    The property was well set up with lots of extras (stocked with snacks and beverages) making it feel welcoming and relaxing. Having the boat onsite and ready for use was such a time saver and eliminated the hassle of extra logistics renting a boat stored elsewhere, which gave us more time to enjoy our vacation. I would definitely stay at this property again or another owned by this host

    Great vacation

    We had a wonderful family vacation at House with a boat. The house was perfect size for our family of 6. The pool and boat were great. Wish we would have had more time on the boat but the rain and weather kept us from going out. We would definitely rent again.

    Was a great week !

    We stayed from Mon-Sat, the house was the cleanest I have stayed at in quite a long time. Had all the toiletries, snacks, drinks, water stocked there. Was super nice place to stay and we’ve stayed in the area for over 10 years. Very satisfied.

    2 Amazing Vacations in 1

    House With A Boat was an excellent vacation experience for your family! Our host made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The house was very clean, it was exactly as presented in pictures and the amenities were exceptional. The boat rides were an adventure getting to see dolphin, stingrays, a bald eagle and so much more. We loved visiting new places in the harbor and such beautiful views not to mention the incredible sunsets. We will always cherish the time we spent there with our family and friends!!

    Home away from Home

    We have high criteria for where we stay on vacation. This home exceeded our expectations! The home was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, comfortable, and the host was very responsive to questions and instructions. Having a boat was amazing. The weather didn’t cooperate during our stay but the house provided plenty of areas of comfort during rainy days. The location is close to a lot of restaurants, stores and places to visit. Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda and Sunseeker Resort were a few minutes away.

    Great Time!

    We stayed here from May 1st through May 8th 2024 and had a great time! The best part of our vacation was swimming in the heated pool and using the pontoon boat, we went all over on the boat. Out of all the rentals we have done this experience is at the top of the list. The only recommendation I would have is if you plan on renting make sure you bring/have enough money for gas for the pontoon boat, it can get expensive, depending on how long or far you go on the boat. The house is located right on the channel and is close to restaurants and grocery stores. Also there is a bait shop (Franks) very close that has everything you need if you want to go fishing. I will definitely be booking another vacation here in the near future.

    Amazing

    We had an amazing time the house is gorgeous we wish we could live there. They had so many things there that you would normally have to bring your own of. You can literally bring your clothes and personal items and buy food for yourself everything else is there for you. There was even swim diapers in one of the cabinets. We truly loved it and have asked my husband if this can be a yearly thing. The boat was awesome we had a great time it was just very hot the week we were there. Going through the canals would definitely be more enjoyable with a cooler temperature and a breeze.

    First of all Dan the owner of the Housewithaboat was very helpful and easy to communicate. It was a vacation that would replicate life in Florida as close as you can without living in Florida. It is a house so we went to local grocery stores, restaurants gas stations etc. did laundry and cooked meals. Also it is on the water and there is a boat that we used whenever we wanted. It is like having your own place for short period of time and thinking would this work for me? Kids said that it is better then hotel and had a blast in the pool. If you wonderings would Florida lifestyle be for you, this is the way to try it. You are not going to be disappointed!!!

    Don’t pass this opportunity by!

    What a great week we spent in this home. Spacious, super clean, close to everything! The house was very accommodating with ALL the supplies one would need… soaps, shampoos, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, condiments, basic kitchen spices, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. Comfortable beds and furniture were great too. The host provided us with everything we needed and were basically on standby for questions or needs. They even provided some much appreciated snacks and drinks. You won’t find better hosts anywhere! The full access to the boat was icing on the cake. We used it several times enjoying the harbor and nearby beach park, perfect for small children. Don’t pass up on this rental. We will definitely be back when visiting the area!!!

    The house was absolutely fantastic! Fully equipped and the welcome package, drinks snacks etc was extremely helpful. Fishing from the dock was fun and we caught lots of fish. We even got to see a dolphin a couple hundred feet away! My kids used the paddle boards and kayaks until we saw a gator, so be cautious. The boat was great also until the battery died on us and we couldn't use it anymore. The kid friendly games in the family room were fun as a night time activity. We swam in the pool everyday. My only 2 problems were the boat and we didn't have use of the grill the entire week as we were waiting for flavor bars and they never came. Otherwise it would have been 5 star hands down. One recommendation would be to label the light switches. There are a ton of switches and just couldn't figure out which ones did what. A second recommendation would be for a cookie sheet in the kitchen. Heating up leftovers in the oven was difficult without anything like thay. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

    Port Charlotte Get Away

    Property was in great shape having just been in a hurricane. Everything had been tidied up to make it comfortable. LOVE the layout of the home, lots of charming qualities! A lot of thought went into stocking the house with anything you could imagine for use during our stay. Appreciated the check in to see if there was anything we needed.

    Clean, newer everything, and great communication

    Great host! Nice house. Ok neighborhood and location. Pool was awesome. Boat was ok, kind of weathered but it is FL. Impressed with the host and accommodations. They had everything we could have ever needed. Only thing that would have made it better is if it was on a beach!

    Perfect House

    The house was very clean and comfortable. Management made us feel like home. The boat was perfect. The kids loved the pool day and night. Everything was great. I definitely recommend to family and friends 😊

    Weekend Getaway

    We hadn't really had a vacation in quite sometime, we are glad we found the House with a Boat, we had a great weekend. Max was helpful answering questions and ensuring we knew how everything worked. The house was well stocked and had everything you could possibly want. This is a very comfortable house with many ammenities, if you forgot something, they probably have it at the house. We have stayed in several houses offered through VRBO and found this one to be the best so far. We plan to book it again before the summer is over.

    Loved it would return.

    Everything was as described and very clean. Very quiet neighborhood and was very peaceful. Pool was great and we took a boat ride every day. Very safe neighborhood. House was very well stocked. We saw dolphins when we went boating.

    Well stocked home with pretty view

    House was in great shape. It definitely has been renovated. All new furniture, appliances & fixtures. Very well stocked with drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee & water) & snacks. Bathroom essentials all supplied. House had plenty of room & it was definitely a “smart home”. Quiet & nice neighborhood. Pool was large as well as the patio/lanai area & had plenty of seating. View from dock & from pool area was great. Boat & kayaks were a plus. Enjoyed taking cruises across to Fisherman’s Village, into the bay & swimming off of the small islands in the bay. Inside the house needs a second TV so adults & children can watch different things. A TV on the lanai/patio would be a great suggestion. Garage was full of “older furniture” stacked up. Would have been nice to be able to put cars in garage. We had 4 adults & 2 kids, but there were only 2 beach chairs & no umbrellas. Just a note, distance to ocean beaches was 45 minutes or more, but Port Charlotte Beach Park was just under 1.5 miles from house. Small beach area that had a basketball court, volleyball court, outdoor pool & playground. Great house for families or multiple couples.
