The Bluff House is the perfect vacation home. It has the best of both worlds - it is in a secluded, quiet spot but is within blocks of over a dozen restaurants and a large grocery store. The home has a huge gourmet kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms each with its own private, full bathroom, ideal for three couples or a small family wanting to explore Port Angeles and the Olympic National Park. The panoramic salt water view is incredible and visible from almost every room in the house; both sunrises and sunsets are visible over the water. There is no better view available anywhere in Port Angeles, period. Turn around and there is a view of the Olympic Mountains looming above Port Angeles.
The location of the house is perfect for visitors. It is close to the Olympic National Park, the Discovery Trail and the downtown area of Port Angeles. It is just 4 blocks from the Victoria Ferry, 2 blocks from the Discovery Trail, 1 mile from the entrance to the national park and close to many restaurants and shopping.. Your hosts can help with trail and sightseeing information, and any concerns or questions that may arise when planning your adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Bluff house is beautiful inside with a great deck overlooking the water. Fun to watch the boats as well as the quail and deer. Fabulous kitchen with everything you could want. Amazing library and enough binocs for everyone. Cindy is an attentive and responsive host and accommodating to any situation. The house booklet is full of restaurant and activity ideas. We would give 10 stars if we could!!!

It was a beautiful home on the bluff. We saw a deer every morning and evening in the yard. The family loves using the binoculars to watch the boats in the harbor.

We rented this for a family wedding. The location and view are top notch. Cindy was a delightful host, the house is perfect for a family, especially those with some mobility issues (walker/cane) as it’s one floor. Plenty of room/bathrooms. The kitchen has pretty much ever you could need. We loved staying here!

Cindy was very helpful and her welcome book information is awesome. We loved the house and location. The little tubs on the deck were wonderful at the end of the day with a glass of wine and a beautiful view of the harbor. They kept warm for a long time when we kept the planks on.

Yearly get together with long time friends

For at least the last 35 years, we get together with a group of friends from college. It started out camping when kids were little. Now it's homes with 3-4 BRs and 3 BAs. We loved our stay here so much. The view is spectacular! Loved hanging out on the deck enjoying the fresh air, and we had the same view from the living room. Plenty of space for everyone. We had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very well appointed. There were items like napkins and wraps, so we didn’t have to purchase those items. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!!

great base for exploring park

our family of four stayed at the Bluff House for two nights in late May. The house was perfect for us and the views are as advertised. All of us got a great nights sleep (very quiet location) and explored different parts of the park during the day. There's a great coffee drive through two blocks from the house right off 101 east with a remarkably pleasant woman making the coffee drinks. One block east of their is Olympic Bagel and they do a great job as well. The owners of the Bluff House are very attentive and have compiled an excellent and up to date information book.

Boat traffic Galore

My husband and I with our two adult children and their spouses had a fabulous time. We would check out the big ships, find their name on Google, and see where they were going, what they were carrying, Etc. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and there was plenty of gathering space to eat, sleep, laugh, and chat. The deer were amazing. Every day we enjoyed them. Some mornings, I would stay in bed and watch them out the window with my coffee. You won’t be disappointed.

Escape to the Pacific NW!

We enjoyed our stay in Cindy’s beautiful home! The view is absolutely breathtaking! Everything was clean and organized. Two nights we walked from downtown back to the house. (About a 10-15 min walk). Cindy was very proactive, kind, and friendly! We felt very welcomed! Her place is a gem! The house is in a great location if you want to take day trips to other neighboring towns or into Olympic National park. There is even a ferry that goes to Victoria, BC! (Takes about 1.5 hours).
