When we arrived there had been a small snowstorm. The snow had almost stopped falling but the area outside the door had not been shoveled. I slipped in the snow and nearly fell down. My knee was very badly twisted and I cannot walk. Last night I reported this to a young woman at the front desk and asked her to file a report and to provide me with written confirmation that she had done that. She said that she would notify her supervisor who was not on the property. I said that I wanted email confirmation last nigh that I had reported this incident. I did not receive any confirmation. Last night I was unable to sleep because of the pain. I am now going to a hospital in the U.S. to have the knee looked at.

Our room was fairly clean, but the outside of the hotel was disgusting. As soon as we walked out of the hotel, there were empty beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere by the front entrance. There was also tons of garbage all throughout the parking lot. The hotel was quite noisy while we were trying to sleep, you could hear perfectly through the walls.

There are 2 sides to this hotel. The five floor side is well kept up and comfortable. The three floor side is the opposite. The he hallways were not vacuumed, there was garbage everywhere, stains on the walls, tons of fingerprints on the glass and in the elevator. Wallpaper peeling off and cracks in the vinyl floors. The staff was accommodating and moved us to a room on the other side of the hotel, but we just felt dirty the whole stay. The pool was warm but there was hair everywhere and the only place to sit and supervise was a bench or very cheap plastic chairs that bent and twisted when you sat on them. There were also tons of unsupervised children in the pool, exercise room and running in the halls.
