Location! Ease of access! Cleanliness! The whole facility seemed very new and clean. The breakfast contained the usual, but with several varieties of menu items more than most places we have stayed at.

Nice Hotel with a Great View

Good location next to the freeway. Three gas stations and the hospital is close by. The view of Pocatello is beautiful!

Nice place to stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
This hotel was very clean, easy to see from the freeway, and very friendly staff. The only drawback was the way the city has the streets set up..easy to get to, hard to get back to from the center of town.

Bad construction means bad experience

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy
I shall simply list the issues: The hotel rooms appear to have been constructed with zero sound proofing. Let me be clear - this was not an issue with noisy neighbors, this is a construction issue. Every step made by the occupants above was a thunderous pounding on the ceiling. The sound proofing is so bad that I could hear my neighbors phone ON VIBRATE. The shower was falling apart. The TV had terrible picture quality. My sheets and pillow cases were not cleaned each day The AirCon/Heater could not be used because it was as noisy as an jet engine. Summary - This is the most expensive hotel in Pocatello and staying there was a nightmare.

NICE HOTEL

THE HOTEL WAS FINE - SERVICE WAS GOOD. I HAD A "SUITE" WHICH MEANT I HAD A COUCH IN THE ROOM - NOT THAT MUCH DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR ROOM. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE DECOR. THE LOBBY LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD BOUGHT OUT A PIER ONE STORE AND PUT EVERYTHING IN THE BREAKFAST/LOUNGE AREA.UP IN THE CUTOUTS IN THE WALLS. FAKE PLANTS AND TOO MUCH "STUFF" EVERYWHERE. THEY NEED TO FIND A NEW DECORATOR! STAFF WAS GREAT - PAPER CUPS FOR COFFEE AND DRINKS. SINGLE SERVINGS FOR IN ROOM COFFEE. THE MOST EXPENSIVE ROOM IN TOWN AND NOT WORTH IT.

Wonderful Experience!

My husband and I thought very highly of the Hampton Inn in Pocatello. From check in to the great breakfast the following morning we were impressed with the friendly and professional staff, the beautiful view, the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. We also had a great dinner across the street at Ruby Tuesday's. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if ever in Pocatello.
