I know this hotel well, so i was not under any illusions of grandeur. But was disappointed for the following reasons. towel heater was stuck on making the room very hot, (no aircon) Breakfast no tea or coffee offered, no hot breakfast offered, was in the the restaurant for over 30 minutes and was not ask once if I needed anything.

Nice hotel but poor disabled access.

Clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Absolutely NO disabled parking bays / spaces so when we arrived there was nowhere to park.

Our hotel room was the worst we have EVER stayed in! We looked through the window at a bank of air con units which kept us awake all night with their constant throbbing noise even with the window closed. On top of that there was a squeaky fire door in the corridor right next to our room which was constantly being opened by late night revellers. I would not wish this room on my worst enemy!!!!!!!

Although the carpet looked a bit haggard, the room and bed were very spacious, but the lack of AC during a heatwave was.. rough. Room service hours are very limited as well sadly, but there’s plenty of options for a late night meal nearby in the city centre. The continental breakfast was a bit lacking in terms of options, and some things we ordered (like the porridge and “heated croissants”) tasted very processed/chemical. The pool, gym and sauna/steam room is an amazing bonus with this hotel though.

Staff were great, nice breakfast. The only issue we had was how it the room was, it was unbearable. No one slept. Windown opened only a cpuple of inches and a fan was provided but did nothing.

Had a great two night’s at the hotel. Very quiet room on the 3rd floor. Going back in December. It’s great please to chill out on my week off as a live in carer.
