RENTER BEWARE! This place is absolutely disgusting and not as pictured! It is a basement with boxes of baking soda to attempt freshness. Upon arrival, we detected an odor, but dropped off our luggage and went to dinner. We returned at 10:00 PM and attempted to settle in; however, by 11:00 PM, we booked a hotel and vacated. We tried to overlook the dirty bathroom shelves, the stained furniture, the dusty fan, etc. The final straw came while sitting on the futon (not couch as pictured). It smelled of urine! There was a large circular stain that covered the majority of the cushion. We smelled again. PURE URINE! It was as if the previous tenants used it as a urinal! Additionally, the bed is a queen cot with a singular pad and no mattress protector. The sheets were paper thin. It was gross! The rental charge was placed by a company named "MEGA CLEAN", so this is owned by a rental business not by a private host. Prior to the trip, we received a few messages asking when we planned on arriving because their "cleaning schedule was tight". I asked a question about the site and the walking proximity to a location. This was never answered, but went back to "when will you arrive?" I have no idea who I was really communicating with. They offered to send a cleaning crew to fix the issues because the place is "not refundable". Upon request, they finally canceled the reservation and quit communicating with us about a refund. VRBO did refund their fees but as of yet, this company has not.
