Cozy cabin

The cabin is in a great location in the woods but near the main road. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for a two person getaway.

Perfect getaway!

Could’ve stayed here for a month and been perfectly content, if time had allowed! Cozy, pristinely clean, and well-appointed cabin on BEAUTIFUL property that feels remote even though it’s right off the highway. Each morning, I enjoyed waking up and taking my dog for a walk around the hiking path that runs along the perimeter of the land, then enjoying coffee and a book on the patio while squirrels and chipmunks darted around nearby. We love the front range and this was a great home base for all of our favorite spots, and a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature when we had nothing on our agenda.

Cabin Handy for House Hunting

This cabin is centrally located between the city and Bailey which served us well while house hunting in the area, February 2025. Kim and Brent were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The property is rustic but charming and gave us what we needed.

Pine Getaway

It was a great place to rest and relax. Perfect location to attend a concert at Red Rocks. Although we did not plan a trip to Pike's Peak the drive throuh the National Forest is spectacular.

Great cabin and hosts

We stayed here for 4 nights/5 days and we absolutely loved the property. Brent and Kim were very accommodating but not bothersome. We will definitely be back next time we visit Denver!

Great place for a get-away! Tucked-away to feel remote, yet close enough to any conveniences one might need or want. Everything was also stocked and well-thought-out in the cabin.Crazy snow storm before check-in, yet the cabin was ready when I got there! Very relaxing retreat! Thank you!

solitude getaway

I rented this cabin by myself for the purpose of solitude and clarity. This place was absolutely perfect. The location is easy to get to, its pushed back on the property so you are completely surrounded by forest but you are still near every thing you might need and for a woman traveling alone it was comforting to know others were within reach. It so clean, warm and inviting, updated and fully equipped with everything. I loved having the trail there to take a walk through the forest and along the Lake. Lots of wildlife. Just beautiful. and only about an hour from Denver. I will be staying here again!

Charming and dreamy is right!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim's cabin in the woods. She and Brent were wonderful hosts - they were there when we needed them, but otherwise we had the property to ourselves. It's beautiful and hilly with a pond and nice trails for hiking/exploring. The cabin was well-furnished with a comfy bedroom and living area, nicely stocked kitchen, and plenty of cozy bath towels. We were thrilled with the location - close to the highway to get out exploring but tucked in the woods for plenty of privacy. We came for some RandR and enjoyed every minute of our stay thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Quaint cabin

We picked this cabin to use as our home base for seeing a concert at Red Rocks amphitheatre and getting in some hiking. The location was perfect for our needs.
