This was a terrible host. A very bad actor. I travelled internationally on an 12 hour trip to find that this host sold my paid lodging to another guest and I was stranded at the airport with no lodging for better than 6 hours. The VRBO team contacted the host and host admitted to charging my credit card cost and not having the lodging I paid for because they sold it to another customer. The VRBO team cancelled the reservation and processed a refund for my money to my credit card. This hosted also had the nerve and bad intentions to message me on vrbo and tell me I need to pay at least half of the cost of the reservation directly send it to them. I have the screenshot receipts. Disgusting behavior by this host to try cheat someone out of their hard earned money. This hosted booked is terrible. This is not a fabricated review, it is factual and has left a lasting negative experience from this host. What you did was terribly wrong and you are disguising for this type of sham and scam behavior. You placed me in a very dangerous circumstances to be stranded in a foreign country with no idea where to secure lodging for hours on hours on hours. Trinidad is a great country with great culture and people, but I attest that you are the scum of the lowest degree for your bad behavior looking to cheap people out of hard earned money. Karma will catch you.
