Absolutely loved our time and the whole resort in relaxing and pleasant. All of the staff we met were so helpful and always smiling. Could do with upgrading/replacing some of the pool furniture as looking a little tired but didn’t dampen our wonderful experience.

Luxury Hotel relaxation

Beautiful luxurious hotel set in beautiful surroundings in tropical woodland above Karon beach. Everything you need for a relaxing break away from the huddle and bustle - friendly and helpful staff - great pools and pool bars - two restaurants. Daily replenishment of bottled water was a nice touch. Shuttle to beach ( walk of 15 mins) was handy - although Beach is beautiful it is very busy and a different vibe - nice for a change but not as classy as the Hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and spacious, with many options within the resort itself. It’s surrounded by lush plants as well. The view from the top was gorgeous and is a nice escape from the bustle of Phuket. The breakfast and dinner options were great as well. The staff were lovely and accommodating! Something to note is that the hotel is located on a hilly landscape, which can make it difficult for some guests who are unable to walk up and down hills (they do offer shuttles to/from your room if you call reception). The hotel also offers a shuttle to Karon beach, but we did wish that the shuttle ran every hour for more convenience (only runs 4x a day and we ended up having to walk or taxi instead). In the morning, the area around our room was quite noisy (sounded like very loud insects), but otherwise was fine. Thank you so much!

The property is very nice. The people were very nice. Breakfast was great. What I didnt care for so much was the steps and steep incline. Had a hard tile finding our room and it was much further from beach than we thought when we booked. Location was more of a trek than expected. Beautiful room though. Spacious.

The Mandarava Resort was impecable. Spacious and clean rooms, plenty of pools and bars and the service was second to none. The buffet breakfast was well worth it and the Charm Thai Restaurant was amazing. Room service was also delivered quickly and with a friendly smile. The complimentary shuttle to Karon Beach made it easy to get to the local shops, restaurants and have a dip in the ocean. I would recommend staying at the Mandarava Resort to anyone looking for luxury accomodation in Phuket.

An amazing hotel. Rooms were modern and comfortable with lovely touches such as robe, beach bag, toiletries and replenished water. The bed was extremely comfortable and room cleaned daily. Multiple pool areas with plentiful loungers and excellent pool bars. Wonderful restaurants with excellent breakfast buffet, reasonable prices and happy hour offers for food and drinks. Friendly and hard working staff. Room service and access to the gym and games room. Buggy service for suitcases. Walkable to Karon Beach. Highly recommended.

Beautiful stay!

Heaven on earth. Beautiful place with welcoming staff. We got an upgrade thanks to the staff. You can walk down to the nearest market or to take their free shuttle service to beach. A perfect stay for my family. :)

Overall, our stay was pleasant, and most aspects were satisfactory. However, if you're looking for a more modern experience, this might not be the right choice. While the property offers plenty of character compared to newer accommodations, it lacks the luxurious feel of a 5-star resort. The breakfast area was overcrowded, making the experience feel cramped, and the facilities seemed outdated. We stayed in one of the suites with a private pool, which was clean and private, but not particularly memorable. If I were to return, I’d likely opt for a more affordable room, as the suite didn’t offer anything significantly special. Overall, the staff were okay, neither rude nor particularly welcoming compared to other places we’ve stayed in Phuket. One notable issue was when we asked if we could purchase the welcome drink we were served upon arrival. The staff spent about 20 minutes calling various people to check if it was possible, which felt unnecessarily complicated for such a simple request. Another aspect I personally found uncomfortable was the reception area. It was very hot, with no air conditioning or fans running, making waiting around quite unpleasant as you’d quickly start sweating. It was a nice stay overall, but not one that stood out.
