Quality Inn & Suites Goodyear – Phoenix West I’ve stayed here before and generally had a decent experience, but this time the biggest difference was the price. Once the rate goes over $100, it becomes hard to justify for this location. The hotel sits right next to the freeway, so it’s loud and noisy, with constant traffic, trucks, and people walking by. If you’re just looking for a basic place to sleep and don’t mind noise, it may work. However, if you’re expecting anything close to luxury or complimentary amenities, this is definitely not it—especially at the current price point. For what they’re charging now, it doesn’t really feel like “Quality.” Staff is hit or miss—about 50/50. Some are friendly and helpful, others seem like they’re just not having a great day. One positive is that the breakfast area has been upgraded. It used to be smaller and uncomfortable, and while it’s better now, it can still feel cramped, especially since you’re not allowed to take food out of the breakfast area. The rooms show noticeable wear and tear. Some of the light shades are torn or see-through, and overall the room feels a bit rough around the edges. The bathtubs feel more like something you’d find in a family home—not luxurious, but not bad enough to make you avoid showering either. There are definitely some good bonuses to the location. It has easy freeway access, Black Bear Diner right in front, and Waffle House, IHOP, and plenty of stores across the street and nearby, which makes getti

Hotel room and bathroom floor was filthy. Exterior is in very rough shape and clientele was scary. Marijuana smell everywhere, men outside their rooms yelling and smoking. I was with my daughter and we were scared. We left and booked a room somewhere else.

The menu was limited end up going to the Diner for breakfast. As soon as you walk in to check in it smells. The beds had broken bed springs so every time you sat on the bed it was noisy. Overall just disappointed. Definitely will not be staying at another Quality Inn.

The room had a few issues. The toilet seat was loose. The shower curtain rod wasn’t level so the curtain kept sliding to the center. When you sat in the bed it made a sound of flexing metal. Loved the breakfast!

The power went out in our room from just heating up water in the microwave. When we notified the front desk they had no maintenance people on site to address the issue. Then they didn’t even comp the room or even provide a discount for our trouble. The young girl working the front desk tried contacting the manager but to no response. We couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there and will never return!!!

Booked a Pet Room. The first thing our cat did was go under the bed..(lol) and came out with a dirty hand towel. Gross. Then under the other bed was a large dried pet stain. Under the heater were boxes and plastic trash. The TV did not work at all. When I called reception. they didnt answer. When I called again they answered and told me to plug it in. It was, I asked bluntly if the TV worked and she said "No.". Two quarter rolls of TP...No Mas...seriously. Fingerprints (yuck) on the bathroom door. Beds were firm, but linens were clean...so we just went to sleep. (We have photos)
