Lovely hotel and really friendly staff. The room was large and fully equipped with fridge, balcony with table and chairs, and a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was taken at the beach side of the hotel and was very good. The beach was just across the road from the hotel.

Booked Tara Family Suite for 3 adults. Room was quite dusty and corners are full of spider cobwebs. Balcony sofa is very dirty and dusty too - lounged on it while wearing light coloured clothes and everything turned black afterwards

Lovely hotel

I have stayed at Tara Mantra many times as it is a lovely friendly and very comfortable hotel. I stayed a week with friends and we all felt relaxed and made to feel very welcome. My only criticism is that the cooked items in the buffet breakfast are mainly cold even early in the service.

Nice hotel in lovely Cha Am.

Lovely friendly hotel right on the beach front. Room was very comfortable although a little worn ! Breakfast was average to good. Would start again.

One of the best hotels in the area

Nicely refurbished hotel with good size rooms and great balcony. Good choice at breakfast. Reception staff could be more friendly, but it certainly didnt spoil my 2 night stay here.

Reception staff could be a little friendly as I did have some minor issues and each time, I felt they were unapproachable and they were not really friendly or intetested. Shame as is a nice hotel. Stayed in Char-am 1 week, only stayed here first 2 night's. Says it all really....

Good for holiday close to the beach

This is a good hotel our room a delux room overlooking a pool a/c was good tea and coffee in room bath tub and shower all good staff are attentive and all very good is only 50 mts from beach, breakfast was good eggs cooked fresh....I have not a bad word to say about this place was all good thank you to Tara manta cha am

Encounter termites in the room as the property is already ten years old and maintenance is not satisfying. Staff treat it well by upgrading the room but turn out to be old and not so comfortable stay

A Comfortable, Well-Run Hotel Option

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The room was a good size, clean and with nice amenities. WiFi was decent. The breakfast is well above the average you find at most hotel buffets. They have 3 swimming pools, 2 of them smaller pools on the 2nd & 3rd levels. The main pool and children's pool is on the ground level. It is much larger and nicer than any of the hotel's photos show. We were pleased. The hotel is across from the quieter north Cha-am beach area and is an easy walk to a good number of restaurants. We will be happy to book again at Tara Mantra.

Decent hotel in a nice location

The Tara Mantra is a nice hotel situated in a great area. 7-11 located nearby as well as great beach location with quieter setting for Cha Am. The property is dated a bit and the staff is not as warm as you would typically expect from a Thai hotel, still the hotel is good enough that I would be open to staying there again.

Good for a night or two if you like Cha-am

Good hotel, fully priced and then some. Two very nice swimming pools suitable for lap swimming. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Nice hotel next to Beach. Hotel is clean and modern and rooms are well presented. There is a good spa and restaurant in hotel. 3 swimming pools that are never crowded an added bonus. Breakfast is quite good. Staff are very helpful and friendly, There are plenty of restaurants along the beach to try. Cha Am is a very quite place if you want to just relax this is the place for you.
