Amazing hash brown nearby
Great location with fantastic views. Best to enter from the beach side of the Hotel as the other side has many stairs and a non functioning lift. Reno works were started and only effected the astetics not the function. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dining space had a great view of the Coast with the usual buffet breakfast. Best to visit a cafe nearby called Cleopatras for the most amazing house made hash brown.

Its been around for some time so no complains about exterior condition however it is undergoing renovations to freshen up which is wonderful on the inside. Room w balcony overlooking Indian Ocean breathing sea breeze & hearing the waves hit the shores was such a great escape to nature from buzzing city. Deeply appreciate hotel for complimentary bottle of white wine & cheese platter waiting for us upon entering our room. Memorable time spent with my wife & son for the splendid experience this hotel & its beautiful ocean gave us

Very old hotel big rooms but the lighting could be better. Great balcony and view of the coast. Reception well staffed but check in is cumbersome. The dining room was very good with reasonable menu of good food and good wine list. Staff were excellent. Parking was easy.

The property was great except for the mattress on the bed, it was rock hard so sleep was hard to obtain with such a hard mattress, also only 1 fash washer for 2 people, i would prefer 2 as i dont want to share a face washer. Everything else was great, will stay again on next visit to scarborough
