We stayed in a kitchenette unit over the Sept long weekend. Motel is a half block to the beach so ideal location, every room was full. Had a fun, beach/surf town feel to it. Lots of people dancing/swimming hanging out in the motels plaza area. Couldnt hear noise in the room. Only knock against it would be very few electrical receptacles and not enough pots/pans to cook a full meal. Would stay here again.

The check in staff was friendly, however I found it odd that I was charged the entire stay at check in. The exterior of the hotel is bright and cheerful with a 70's vibe and nice clean outdoor pool and well maintained garden area to sit in. Parking was very tight, on our second night we ended up having to park in the last spot behind the building. The rooms are very basic, a bit dated and could be cleaner. Interior lighting was almost flourescent in colour which was not very relaxing. No privacy film on the bathroom window which in our case overlooked the garden area. The mattress was hard and so worn that my husband and I kept ending up crammed together in the middle of the bed. Our room had no ac unit or thermostat to adjust the temperature just air coming up from two floor vents controlled elsewhere. Our first night there was an extremely noisy group partying in the garden area outside our window until 3am. When we informed front desk staff they apologized but offered no other solution. Should also mention there was no one manning the front office after 10pm and with the noise and our room located above the office we could hear other guests attempt to contact the office phone with no staff to answer. Postives are you are a 5 minute walk to skaha lake and park, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Comfortable and clean

Clean place, convenient location by the beach, nicely decorated with lights at night and some nice spaces to relax. Beds were comfy enough. Just at the AC could be a bit loud so get ear plugs. But overall very happy with the stay, the guys were accomodating eith changes and checkin.
