Shortly before check-in, made aware no heat in half of the living space but a space heater was available. Space heater was plugged into extension cord which was plugged into a power strip. Same power strip was the only outlet in bedroom, so space heater and two CPAPs were all plugged in together. No fire alarm (only the base on the wall). Floor was soft by the bathroom and front door, most likely rotted wood under the flooring. No hand soap in bathroom. No paper towels, toilet paper (one partially used roll for four nights), dish towel, or hair dryer. Prior to arrival made aware LED light in bathroom was out, replacement part ordered, would have portable light for use. Portable light was low voltage and poorly lit the entire bathroom. Also told the bathroom sink hot water line was accidentally cut so only cold water available. Projection TV was awesome but had to use our Netflix account to watch it. The kitchen light would continuously flash off and on after using for a short time. Told prior to arrival the septic bed was being excavated but stone was added to driveway. Had to use 4-wheel drive in and out of the driveway because the ground was so soft. Mattress provided no support, slept entirely on pillows to decrease back pain. Will never use VRBO again. Owner was very quick to respond but felt everything was satisfactorily addressed and therefore we had to deal with it. We left early because it was unsafe.
