We stay in cabin #1, Lovers Hideaway for our anniversary, it was perfect. There was nothing better than waking up, jumping in the hot tub, getting a nice relaxing soak and then hitting the lake for some fishing! I actually caught fish at both Woods Canyon and Willow Lakes!
Diane, the host was awesome, very helpful and polite. She told us about a dirt road that would take you to a little town called Young. We took a day drive and while making several stops to explore and hike, we drove thru the town and then back. It was beautiful! Then to Christopher Creek Landmark open bar and restaurant, for good food and a great atmosphere.....back to the hot tub for a night cap. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away, but not be completely isolated. There a total of 6 cabins, fairly close together, but even with the radio on and the noise from the hot tub, you couldn't hear anything outside and we couldn't hear our neighbors. Very nice. There is not really a place to explore on the property as there are other private properties near, but a short drive back to road and we can find some beautiful places.
