Disappointed. They no longer have fireplaces! The have glow in the dark fake electric fire logs in EVERY SINGLE KING DELUXE ROOM. THEY PULLED OUT ALL REAL FIREPLACES RECENTLY! We have been regular guests there for 20 Years! The fireplaces are what kept us coming back! We just got back from our 39th anniversary weekend. So disappointed to see they are STILL ADVERTISING REAL FIREPLACES. Look: “Majestic Mountain Inn offers thoughtfully designed accommodations perfect for couples seeking intimate settings. The Luxury King Bed with Jacuzzi & Fireplace stands as the premier romantic choice, combining several features that elevate any couple’s getaway into unforgettable territory.”

Room was clean, however, after long day of hiking we learn that our shower didn't work. Next day we went to front desk and been told housekeeping will come by and "start" it, - she couldn't. The shower was broken and they sent Maintence guy to our room who was doing the repairs. When he was done it was time to check out. I asked the hotel to compensate out extreme inconvenience and they said they won't. After emailing and trying to contact the customer service we had no response and now I am leaning towards the charge back for these extremely bad customer treatment.

Also the breakfast isn’t really a buffet it’s more like couple of pieces of bread sausage and I think eggs weren’t very good to bad as I went there for my 32nd anniversary wasn’t pleased with the place I have been there about 15 years ago it was great then

We have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times, never had a problem. We always stay in the luxury room with a jacuzzi, while we were in the jacuzzy for about 10 minutes i started to smell the motor burning, i thought it sounded too loud, we immediately got out, i was afraid we might get electrocuted! After we fell asleep the motor turned on by itself scaring us awake, i immediately unplugged it. I let the feont office know about everything that happened, the person there said her manager was not in yet. Like i said weve stayed here many times, this is the first time we've had an issue this bad. I ruined our stay for sure.

Front check in staff was very good. She helped us switch to a lower level handicapped room for my brother. Upon returning to the room to help them settle in we found cat or dog hair on both beds. She took photos and said the manager would follow up with us. We did not hear back from the manager!! The room was non smoking but you can smell the odor of cigarettes. Otherwise everything else was fine.
