This is an older hotel so we didn’t have high expectations. Just a pleasant stay to sleep.
The room had an odor like someone sprayed syrup all over the room. We were sneezing and it gave me a headache. I tried to call the front desk but no one answered so I physically went to the office. When I got there, the door was unlocked and there wasn’t anyone inside. I waited for about 10 minutes and decided to try to find someone.
I found the front desk girl walking around the outside of the hotel and she was on her personal phone from what I could I could tell talking to a manager because she kept asking him questions that I was asking. When I inquired about the smell she basically blamed the cleaning crew and told me I should open up the window to air out the room. I had already done that and it didn’t work. They made no attempt to offer me a new room and it wasn’t a busy night at all.
This hotel is in desperate need of an update. The paint on the inside of this room needs touch up and the electrical outlets need to be looked at because the microwave and the coffee maker plugs had to be sitting just right or they didn’t work. The plugs next to the bed won’t even hold a cord. They just fall out. I don’t recommend this hotel at all!
