Very enjoyable stay. The rooms were large and beds firm but very comfortable. Staff very accommodating and helpful, however the property could perhaps invest in more sun loungers by the pool and the sun deck near the pool needs an overhaul.

I wasn't even at the steps to the hotel, and the staff came over to me and took my suitcase!! A great start! I met the front desk staff, and they checked me in super fast! And, when I turned around, the bell hop guy had already taken my suitcase up to my room!! I changed into my swimming trunks and got to the pool! A perfect pool! It's 1.5 meters deep. Perfect temperature. Lots of lounging chairs are available. It's just a gorgeous, clean hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful!! If you need to feel like a special guest, come to Hotel J. Pattaya!! I am on my last day here at Hotel J Pattaya. I can tell you that the hotel is wonderful. I was here from Feb 4 to 18. The staff are incredible! SO FRIENDLY and helpful! The place is constantly being cleaned by someone. The rooms are fantastic. The place seems empty of people. Most times, the pool has nobody swimming in it. There's a separate kids' pool. It looks great! A gentle slide. Water guns mounted on the pool deck. Lots of floatie toys for the kids..life jackets too! Hardly anyone around. If you come here for some nightlife (at the hotel, I mean), there's none. The bar is closed. It's pretty quiet here at night. To get to downtown is only a mile walk (1.6 km). Twenty minute walk. That will take you right by the amazing Terminal 21 mall, which is just a half mile away! And just a quick walk up from the hotel is a 7-Eleven store to get snacks and liquor. There is no store in the hotel.

They advertised that there was a gym facility and upon arrival they informed us that the gym is closed for refurbishment. Staff English was very poor and communicating and asking for anything was a mission.

The room is good, very spacious. Pools are okay, but I slid in one of the pools, the stairs are too slippery... It has no handrail. Staff seems to be unattentive. Food is okay.

Fabulousity of J hotel

It was a pleasant stay for us all though there was a hiccup at first . But with the effeciency of the staffs esp mr Mang /Mong ( front office at the evening shift when we checked in ) ,the problem was solved immediately . We were also was given a full information about the hotel other services ; shuttle bus to the beach , etc. Most of all , we Love the cleanliness of the hotel esp our room . I will surely recommend this hotel to others and make sure myself to book my stay here again in future.

Tesco Lotus is just 5 mins walk away. Close to most amenities but a 25 mins walk to Pattaya Beach, which is perfectly fine for us. The Bangkok-Pattaya bus terminal is 15 minutes walk or couple of minutes by car. Book at the reception for a nominal cost of 100 baht one-way from hotel to bus terminal. Buffet breakfast spread is good enough, nothing to complain. Hotel is very thoughtful to provide a clothes hanger at balcony for guests.

Good hotel to stay, nice and clean, room size is ok with small balcony face to the pool, it’s exactly what you see in the pictures, prices are cheap may be the location is not a walking distance to the heart of Pattaya , but overall are very convenient , we rent a car at Bangkok airport ,so it doesn’t bother us.if you choose a budget hotel , defintely this is a good pick.

"MANNERS"

Overall is ok! The Aroma Cafe got one old ladies no "manners" when talking to me, looks like she is the superior at there. Hotel management should gave more training for those upper level workers on the "manners"! Those junior staff is good in smiling.

Last minute room on NYE

We grab this last minute room only on NYE, no breakfast with 3AD Nice big room with view of firework at midnight, not far from Pattaya city and main roads. Recommended!
