They were closed for renovations. We called Hotels.com customer service and the rep said they had to call and verify the hotel was closed. I had sent Hotels.com a picture of the lobby under construction. The rep said she no one picked the phone when she called. REALLY?!? How about because NO ONE is there! Then the rep said, she’ll send an email and confirm with them. Ok lady, please sit by your email and wait for no one to reply. The whole reason I took and sent the photo in the chat, so someone could actually see what I was saying. You had to call, ok. But when the line is either disconnected or no one picks up, kind of helps confirm my story. Because we really didn’t want to pay 3x’s more to stay somewhere. I’m the end, we were grateful we found somewhere else and this delay only put us back a few hours
