"The community pool that is advertised was Closed/had not opened yet for the Season.We would not have rented this property with no pool available! The property should not be renting for the amount it rents for: House needs pressure washing/everything is weathered, the seats in Khakis and life jackets are dry rotted, Ping Pong Table is all warped, Bikes are rusted with flat tires. Inside of house needs repairs. Rotten wood next to Refrigerator. Washer just filled with water and would not spin and drain. Faucet in Kitchen is very rusted. Bath vanities have no stoppers. Linens didn't feel clean and pillows need to be thrown out, very soiled. Also, have a junk draw in Kitchen and whole draw of OTC Medicine. The sofa is horrible, very uncomfortable. This property needs attention! "

"I’m all about a clean stay! This place is top notch! Clean, spacious for my family of 6 plus the doodles. Great communication with the hostess. We can’t wait to go back! They even left pup toys out for our doodle babies to play. Great outdoor location! "

"We had a great stay. The host was very responsive to our questions. We really enjoyed the pool table and the access to fishing. The beach was also nice even though it was chilly when we were there. We ended up driving to the beach because we had to cross railroad tracks and a main road. We had everything that we needed in the house. We would definitely stay again!"

"The house was amazing! We’ll definitely be back! First the not great things: The pool was super cloudy the entire time we were there, the gnats were terrible, and we lost water for about 4 hrs during critical pre-bedtime baths for kids. The lack of storage containers was frustrating bc putting things in ziploc bags is just not optimal. The upstairs bedrooms were too bright; as a mom of many, I’d highly recommend blackout curtains in all bedrooms. But those things definitely didn’t damper our fun at all. Now pros:My husband and son fished their hearts out, often not coming in till close to midnight. We crabbed, we fished, we swam, we enjoyed time with each other doing NOTHING. And it was just what we needed. The pots and pans were great. The seating areas were great (some of the dining chairs sink really low). The fans near the seating areas helped tremendously with gnats. And the views were stunning. There were plenty of linens, and even the bathrooms had full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The master bathtub was so relaxing to bathe in once I bought a plug for it. Overall, we LOVED the house and the location! We will definitely be back. One final thing that would make all of these water front houses better would be having some sort of lift for loading/unloading supplies/groceries. It could lift directly to the porch areas, but man that would be a huge GameChanger for my knees. "
