Stayed for 4 days in July found the staff very welcoming. Rooms were spacious and beds good quality. Breakfast buffet had a great choice for all. Found the entertainment first class the best in many Blackpool hotels i have stayed in. Would recommend reserving a seat at entertainment.

Stayed here 3 times now and always enjoy our stay staff are lovely and food is brilliant..only downfall is the seating allocation for the entertainment area u have to pick u table on arrival and u aint guareented that u get it full lenght u stay people pre book before they arrive and causes confussion with staff saying that seat is empty but it actully isnt..everytime i stayed thats only problem i have had everytime at this hotel. Great hotel apart from that one issue .

Excellent place to stay, everything about place was great. Building a little tired, but clean and very comfy new bed. I would always choose The Viking when going back to Blackpool, and entertainment was really good.

Very disappointed, we were booked in for 2 nights DBB. Unfortunately we checked out early morning because we were so disappointed. We had booked DBB and only managed to stomach one evening meal, we didn’t bother with breakfast just checked out. The room we were in was a sea view double, room 122. The room itself was cramped, smelly, dirty and not fit to be rented out. Not as described or anywhere close to the pictures provided upon booking. The bathroom was filthy, mouldy and smelt very strongly of urine. The carpet in the room disgusting, dead flies on the floor, the window didn’t shut which meant the roof tiles were lifting up all night. The bed runner had mould on it. We couldn’t utilise the drawers because again they were filthy dirty. Someone has clearly spilt tea/coffee down the front of the unit which the cleaner had evidently missed. All in all the room was of poor quality and standards of cleaning below par. The restaurant, very over crowded. So many people crammed into a small space you were literally touching the strangers on the table next to you. The lady in the restaurant appeared ratty and fed up with her job! The food itself was lovely, although we only had the one evening meal due to the dining room experience but what we did eat was of good quality and cooked well. The communal areas are in much need of a good decorate / clean - very dated. We will not be returning here again.

Very happy with the hotel. Some areas are looking a bit tired but the bedroom was very clean . Spotless bedding and towels. The dining room was great with views out over the sea. Lovely food and great staff . The entertainment is fab and saved us going out at night after a long day walking around. The tram stops almost outside so a bonus. We did walk in twice so used it one day . £6 for a day , on and off as many times as you like . We chose a room with a bay window overlooking the sea, this did not disappoint. I would recommend this hotel if you want an adult only venue. Good value for money. Parking on site , bonus. Great position for south pier which is lovely.
