Cheap and cheerful

Centrally based, easy access to all areas of Blackpool. Welcoming staff, very clean. Great breakfast. Few problems with condensation which need sorting, otherwise cheap and cheerful stay.

Nicer hotels in Blackpool for the same price

Cheap and not very cheerful. Greeted by the owner I believe who had a luke-warm demeanour. Didnt feel welcome at all, felt like I was an inconvenience to his day. Room average, no ensuite, dirty in corners, but bed sheets clean. I stayed the first night as i had no choice after arriving late, i chose not to stay the second night and did not get any refund even though they appreciated the stay wasnt great, Breakfast was OK but doesnt make up for the lacking in all other areas. Not worth it, even at the price point,

Low rating given ,as when I got the hotel the owner stated I had to contact Expedia. I did contact them, they said that they could not get hold of the hotel to resolve this. I then spoke to the lady at the hotel and told her that Expedia were trying to ring. When I got home I tried ringing the hotel several times, as Expedia had asked for a recepit from the Hotel, which would show I had been charged twice. Got no answer from the hotel after ringing several times, so ended up paying twice.
